Great job, Austin. When I was a young man growing up in East Tennessee, I fished in weather like that. It ain't no fun! The cold eventually puts your brain in a heavy fog...your hands won't do what your mind is telling them to do. Absolutely miserable. Way to fight through it for the win.
Bro, I literally experienced that heavy fog. I felt like my brain could not think about normal tasks let alone fishing.
@@Frostin_Austin -- A day like that makes me appreciate my ancestors who fought in frigid weather during WW2 and the Korean War even more than I usually do! I can't fathom trying to shoot a rifle or operate artillery for long periods of time during sub-freezing weather. I tip my hat to them!

Seeing you fish in that cold makes me think back to being a young man in Indiana in late winter early spring I couldn't wait for ice out so I'd take my Go-Devil boat and mud motor get up speed and slide on the ice to access open water pockets in the lake before anyone else (that month/month and a half when it wasn't safe for ice fishing yet boats couldn't get out). That time of year was magical for me...I had lone access to unpressured fish that hadn't seen open water lures for months and months! It made Musky very vulnerable...they weren't the fish of 10,000 casts during that time. Anyhow, just reminiscing and thought I'd comment.
