I'm not a trump supporter but Thomas Jefferson once warned us that when America starts meddling in foreign affairs and we start to believe that we can be imperalistic and impose our will on other nations, this will be the downfall to America. And why not keep your friends close but your enemies closer or have open dialogue with other nations you may oppose their views, politics, etc.

They obviously know that Trump is saying what he has to in order to make a deal to solve some of the problems she listed.
