Yeah the $10000 truck from Toyota will not be allowed to be sold in America and now GMS saying they're gonna make it $8000 truck still not for Americans we're screwed we get the junk that don't even last a year .
It’s not the companies, it’s the US Government. They’ve regulated the modern automobile into expensive technobloat. You could have a $10k truck if you could force deregulation.

Absolutely ! From an industry insider I can tell you that is true. Want to collect more taxes and get higher profits? Add a catalytic converter MANDATE to increase vehicle Price, get more profit, collect more tax money on a higher priced vehicle.
Not to mention they have no particular reason to repeal the "chicken tax" which would bring in a pile of much better pickup trucks from overseas which would soon eradicate the big pickup companies that are made in the USA which sustain the US automobile industry.

This is so stupid. If that was sold in America, it would dominate the market. There are so many people who would love this for its simplicity and versatility
There are many affordable trucks and cars made globally. They just aren't sold in USA. Medical care and pharmaceutical drugs are also really cheap everywhere but the USA.. see the trend?😊
