Hi Steve, I had thought about retiring in Thailand, but my wife is a Filipina so that was where she wanted to go. I am enjoying my retirement. I have been to Boston a few times and kiked my time there. My brother was a Professor at The Uni of Boston until he passed away.
@@barryinthepi390 Hi Barry, I started working around Chiang Mai in August 2001. Worked throughout SE Asia until 2020 when my wife became terminally ill. When she died Dec 2021 I had 3 heart attacks and open heart surgery. I never thought twice about it. I cleaned up and sold the house and high tailed it back here. Good luck and enjoy, Barry. We earned this the hard way.
