They are leaving because we are living longer on average and reaching ages of seniority that require assistance to continue living. That is the point normally the family steps in. But one of the downsides to being a boomer aka the largest hardest working generation in human history. You guys have the "no one will ever have to take care of me" mentality. 3:18 sir just go on the live tab of youtube. The lazy Philippine younger generations are trying to find an easy eay out of work just like the rest of the world.

Sir, all of the world is using our social media platforms. All the edgy teenagers, the "patriots" and the enemies. Personally, I'd like to see some physical responses to these meat bot farms. Likely, this person is deceptive and just trying to hurt your morale. Phishing is a scammer getting your login details, then saying this kind of stuff to get money out of you. AI is not perfect right now. Look at the fingers. Kids and people my age are taught DIP (deceptive image persuasion) and all should read ICD-203. You were taught these things, sir. The government used to play shows on the TV teaching people how to spot enemy propaganda. It is no different. Don't let these trolly teenagers, scammers, enemy meat bots, and "patriots" get to you. Maybe you can answer a question for me. Human beings are blessed and cursed with the gift of nostalgia. We dream of better times that never were. Only creature on this planet to do that. Anyway, do you think yourself, all the other American boomers, and older generations end up in places like the Philippines because of this factor? Despite conflict at one point in time. These men spent younger years of their lives in such places. Or possibly grew up hearing the stories of their families of these places. So they inhubit some sort of nostalgic response in the brain.

Hey, Barry! The ATM card use seems to be a global thing... I've had problems using mine in Japan, China, and here in the UAE... This AFTER letting the bank know I'd be travelling... Sheesh! 🤨 Another issue I've had is logging in to my bank online... The bank blocks any URL from the Middle East for some reason... I have to use a VPN (I can use that for other things, but still...)... Sounds like your issue was resolved... Good! Good luck with your waterfall pump... 🙏🙏🙏 👍😎👍

Hi Barry, i had the same problem with my German card when i was living in China. The German bank blocked the card because they noticed it had been used a few times abroad. So i had to explain to my German bank that i was living and working in China. I then had the same problem with my Chinese card when i was visiting the Philippines. After using the atm card a few time it got blocked. I contacted the bank in China and again, they said they had noticed that my card was being used in the Philippines so for safety reasons they blocked it. So again i had to contact the bank and persuade them that it was me that was using the card. Nice colorful shirt again Barry and your wearing a different hat today 😜👍

In order to financially survive a move to a developing country such as The Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, Mexico, South America, etc, you will need a monthly income of $3,000/month. You can survive on less however, you'd be just surviving. 3k a month will allow you some extra luxury like going to the bars, coffee shops, etc. If you're not bringing in 3k/month, you should improve your finances to be able to achieve it.

Not sure statistically, but I think that sure, a few expats are leaving, but more are arriving... It just takes planning, patience, and a willingness to delay gratification to make the move work. That includes finding the right girl that will be a life-long partner and share the adventures... It sounds like you struck gold on all fronts, Barry! Good girl, good living, and good adventures! A lot of expats are probably lured here by UA-camrs who paint a pretty picture not based on reality, and then get scammed out of all of their money by Filipinas using them as walking talking ATM's.
