As of Today I just inherited my late Uncles nylon 66 Remington 22 rifle hes had this gun for as long I can remember

Very nice... .22 long rifle is that a round that is very weak, with a small bullet 'head?' 😊😊😊
Yes it's probably the least powerful calibre. That's what most shooters start with. Even the military use .22 for training recruits
