I really like how the meaning of the words "Keep your hands clean" completely changes after Hughie kills Translucent. Before, the poster seemed to be goading him; immediately after he is literally covered in blood, he realizes that his hands are now dirty, and he's never going to get the blood off them again.
Yeah, more like he had realized that his hands had never since been clean since the death of Robin, forced blood. This time he was willing to make them dirty, it was too late to go back. Translucent was basically telling him the same thing, and I imagine after seeing the poster, it set in how much mockery he had endured.

@@sebastiansmith1223 , actually, he's the opposite of useless. He stood up to both A-Train and Ezekiel, and intimidated Ezekiel into revealing what he needed to know, despite having no superpowers. He goaded and distracted A-Train so that the Female could break his leg. He's stayed alive through a lot of crap that would have killed everyone else. He's following the same arc as in the comic book; starting out as weak and apparently useless, but he keeps coming through over and over again, surprising even Butcher.
They work hard to make it seem that way; Wee Hughie went through the same character arc in the comic books; slowly gaining stature and importance as it went along.

A train is basically one of those people drunk driving killing someone on "accident" and only remorseful when caught. There's no way they can redeem this character even after what he done to season 3.
That’s sadly true, if he had even looked back, I know he couldn’t stop running at that time, imagine if he turned around and had a look of remorse and jf he never made those jokes, he may have been redeemable

Prediction: At the end of season 3 as war between the Boys and the Seven goes public, I think everyone but Hughie will take compound V. Because the others will view it as a necessity while Hughie will view it as a dangerous escalation and opt not to take it. Despite not taking the compound V he'll be the one to save the day.
The Fact that they plot armored A-Train's ass so much not even 2 deaths could get him killed ... Its like the Last of Us 2 all over again where the asshole gets to live after the huge mess he made .
Hughie's character development continued in season 2 nicely. Specially annie and hughie scene with song of pressure was perfect. That was one of the best i have ever seen in my life. By the way, i am just learning english. Sorry for all typos!

Simon Pegg was the visual inspiration for Hughes in the comic.

Hughie is my favorite character in this show. Well he and starlight/Annie are my favorite characters in The Boys
