The Gotha is one I'm really sorry to have missed out on. Such an awesome looking aircraft. Guess I'll have to settle for Roden's 1/72 Gotha.

Thing about this and other WnW kits I wonder about: what has happened to the moulds? I can't believe they were thrown out, so are they just mouldering in a warehouse somewhere?

The swastika was used by both the British and the Germans as a good luck emblem. You'll find the swastika on the R.E. 8 recon aircraft.
The Swastika was used by North American Indians, Vikings, Buddhists and several other countries/religions, its origins are obscure
I have the AEG G.IV late on the go right now and the Fe 2b. It really is a shame! There some kits from this company that I would've really liked.
I have 17 WNW kits in my stash. There are kits I will build for sure, but there are a few I'll be torn to touch, which is a shame. They are meant to be built, but at the same time, these kits are rare already.

The typical life of a modeler.
1) A modeler acquires a "rare kit" online or at a model show for a decent price
2) The model sits in closet because it's too rare to build (modeler may also hope the value skyrockets so they can sell it someday for a ridiculous price)
3) The modeler accumulates many such kits over the years
4) The modeler dies of old age
5) The modeler's family then sells the kit at a model show at a low price (to get rid of what they see as a large collection of toys)
6) Back to #1 - the cycle continues

I have wingnut wings Fe.2B(late), sopwith camel clergent, fokker E.1 and sopwith pup(RFC). i just got them all this year before it all happened and i'm worried to build them now due to them being so rare now which is very sad as i massively looked forward to doing them but i guess i'll just have to bite the bullet. i also might have a lucky break as my local model shop has a LVG C.VI and were selling it for only £100 so i asked them to keep it for me before covid started. now that shops are reopening i'm desperate to get in there and buy it haha. I pray they still have it as id like to resell that one!
george savill Hi George, yes, I share your dilemma, I have the Camel Clerget too plus Lanoe Hawker Amc also...but if you want to build it you should do so, especially if you only paid list price for it. I will probably build my own Camel, as it has no figure with it and would like to build one at least.

@Peter Oxley Martin at Mainly Military on ebay has several Gotha G1 kits left at £175 each with free postage. Did you know there was a Gotha on floats?
I’ve been seeing a few of those kits come and go on evilbay. A couple of them for over $1,000.00 USD. Pretty ridiculous.
People are crazy. Eventually some company will acquire the molds and re-release them. It always happens....
Well, it seems MENG has acquired the molds and rights to manufacture the new WnW Fokker Dr1, but no sign of the existing molds being sold on yet.
