Hope you feel better really soon! I just moved across my state and it got to the point where I was just ruthless about everything, especially my books. I was not happy with the move, soo when we got here, I turned the whole dining room into my "library" (sounds fancy, right?) We are not dining room people anyway. BTW I turned the study into a craft room, so I just took over this house!

We aren't dining room people either!!! We're basically looking for a new house with a dining room to turn into a library too 🤣
I totally plan on having a craft room so basically the new house is going to be a me house too 🤣🤣

That is a good month of reading, even the DNFs are fine. It's good to give books a chance, and you did that. :)
I hope your health is better in March and that the move/unpacking is smooth. I am sure you will be glad to leave the noisy neighbor, but from our end it was fine. Perhaps that is your editing skill.
For my reading, February reading wasn't good because my housemate/second mother had surgery and it has been all about helping her get to that, the folllow-up appointments, etc. Also, doing all the cooking, cleaning, shopping. So I started March with three books that carried over, all romances: Loathe to Love You (three Ali Hazelwood novellas), Red, White and Royal Blue (M/M), and Dial A for Auntie (sort of a mystery romance I gather from the cover; might be wrong about that, though). My March reads are all much anticipated mysteries, one of my fave genres, but I have no idea if I'll get to them or carry them over to April.

Just take your time and no rush! I definitely know how it feels to have a rough month so don't put pressure on yourself to read a lot.
I absolutely loved Red, White and Royal Blue and Dial A for Aunties is such a fun, hilarious mystery book. The third one in that series comes out March 26th and I'm so excited about it! I hope you enjoy them all!

I haven't read anything this month. I thought that maybe I will finish something on the extra day, but no. Also Uni started a week earlier than I expected.

Uni is definitely going to take up so much time so just relax and pick up a book whenever you get the chance. No rush and good luck with your classes!!

Two books is totally plenty of books. This month I've read 1.5 books basically so far. Manga totally counts too! I love manga and plan to get back into reading them once we move into the new house

Sorry you're dealing with pain right now. Pain (and chronic pain) is no joke. I love seeing your videos come up they make my day. Why did I think you lived with his parents? Unless you do. Are you all moving? ❤

Lol no we don't live with his parents. We've lived in this house, just me, my husband, and our dog, for about 6 years and my husband just got his current job moved to a different location so we're moving hopefully soon.

Interesting... I swear there was a video where you talked about the book tree his mom made? And that's why you didn't have certain books on hand. Maybe they were just visiting 😂 good luck!!

Moving is so stressful. I’m sure it’s not helping with your migraines 😢
I had a hard time with CC1 as it had dozens of characters in an urban setting and I was so confused. It wasn’t until halfway through before it started to make sense. It gets better in the second book and I enjoyed hearing some throwback characters and how they are related to each world. I also do not love it as much as her other series. It seems down the road there will be more explanation about where certain characters come from and why their powers are different though. If you don’t want to spend all that time reading those hefty book ( because they are thiccc) there are some decent break down videos out there to watch to get the DL on the characters and story. One UA-camr in particular thereallifebookreviwer? Aka Jared and Lindsey’s POV does a decent job.

okay I'll definitely check out those youtubers. I feel like it's going to take me a whole year to read CC2 because I have like zero desire to read it.... Which is bad 😆 I'm glad you liked the second one better though. That does make me kind of want to pick it up a little more.
