Survive the ever increasing pressure of time for as long as you can!
Increlution is a minimalistic incremental game about time management that takes inspiration from roguelite games. It's up to you to survive as long as you can with the tools that you unlock throughout life, such as food or constructions. As time goes on, your health will decline increasingly faster until you'll eventually die. However, death merely marks a new beginning. With every generation, your chances at survival will increase, because progress in previous lives increases your instincts.

Hi, developer here! I just wanted to drop a message to say how awesome it was to watch you play my little passion project! Seeing you toy around with the mechanics, figuring out the short term challenges and meta progression was a blast! And hearing how enthusiastic you were about the game absolutely made my day!
If people happen to like it enough to make another video, feel free to reach out to me with any questions you might have! It might not really be needed as you were perfectly capable of figuring the game out, but I just wanted to let you know that you're welcome to! I'll definitely be watching more of your channel!
I hope that you will make it possible to purchase this game from other places than just Steam, such as itch gog and humble.
Man, congrats on your game! As someone working on his own game I truly appreciate your effort for this. It's cool and i'll buy it later today (at work rn).
The game looks cool, but why is it such a big EXE -- or an EXE at all? I've seen similar browser games, like _Groundhog Life_ and the well acclaimed _Idle Loops_ with a different approach to automation (and much shorter loops initially).
Honestly I love this game
As someone who has completed this game (in its early access form) the one thing I'd note for Reto, or anyone else playing the game, is that you want to do as much of a single task type per life (IE fishing) because the experience earned per second is equal to your combined multiplier (generation multiplier x instinct multiplier x tool multiplier) so if you have 1000x multi on anything you get 1000 experience per second meaning the longer you spend on a single task raising your generation multi, the better off you are.
I figured this out pretty quick but it's so dang enticing to push for progress...
Makes sense... OTOH you shouldn't neglect any food type, since you can eat multiple per 5 seconds as long as they're all different (e.g. 1 berry, 1 fish, 1 apple).
For the 1st run, it's probably best to push for wooden hut and campfire immediately and only gather berries if you can't get your 1st fish cooked in time. That would mean you don't have any EXP in farming, but lots in fishing, cooking, woodcutting and construction. Wooden cart might be a good thing to expand your inventory without spreading EXP any thinner, AND you can stockpile 15 raw & 15 cooked fish. If you run out of things to do, you need stone, berries, or combat. I wouldn't recommend berries unless you had to gather them already, and i wouldn't recommend combat since you can progress further without any combat than without stone mining (another hut).
I'd love to see a full series of this. It was extremely relaxing.
I second this!
I like this! I'll just say that your logic with the wooden hut is flawed. As the health decay increases exponentially, cutting it by 50% gives you the same amount of time before it reaches the same level regardless of how late you do it.
Very much this! A higher decay means your decay grows faster as well, so crafting a hut means not only is your decay smaller, but the decay itself grows slower as well. You really ought to prioritize huts over everything except food, and even then only get the bare minimum food to not die.
@@schoolmonkey13 from my experience with the game though, the stone hut takes more time than it gives back in the first (at least) 10 runs, so it's better to skip it altogether. In the first 5 I couldn't even complete it trying to rush it with different strategies
@@Jonjon13Jonjon13 you're correct, the optimal route in generation 1 involves building the wood hut immediately ignoring food, because this marginally lowers your health decay for the rest of the duration and the fact that you can recover to full health on berries alone after that point (meaning you haven't hit the cap of losing more health than a berry can provide every 5 seconds)
Exactly. Decay rate increases by 25% every minute, so after 5 minutes the decay rate will be 0.5*(1.25)^5/2=0.76, whether you built the hut in the first minute or the fifth.
Building the hut early is better because you benefit from the reduced decay rate sooner, but the difference is marginal in the early game, and it makes no long run difference.
I would argue that the best early game strat for the first few reincarnations is to beeline access to fish, then immediately do the hit.
I thought it just got rid of 50% of the health decay atleast thats all it did for me
6:27 There is in fact an option in the game menu to do exactly what you asked here. Cap jobs to construction would remove gathering jobs from the queue when there's enough to build something else in the queue.
Came to write the same thing. Option is called "Cap jobs to construction" ;)
wouldn't mind a 4-5 episode long mini series seems really fun for a incremental game
This looks awesome :D !!! Side quest, take a look at card survival, the new updates dropped with a new zone, new creatures and new stuff to do!! Highly recommend!
What I wouldn’t do for another series of card survival!!
I would love to see that return
I think he should go back to it once it's fully released, I love watching it but if we had a new series every update till release it would def get at bit boring
Agreed!
Super cool concept, love this kinda thing. Would love to see more on the channel but will be playing myself either way 😃
I would suggest sticking to one skill per generation until you automate it. Imagine the time saved not having to cut the wood? You could build your campfire right after exploring the cave and start cooking the fish you automatically gather.
The automation don t give you free loots sadly. It will automatically place in queue some action when needed, like if you want to build a campfire without enouth wood, you will gather wood before automatically, or if you don t have any berries left you automatically switch to gathering berries.
It's not automate in the sense that wood is always being collected, just that it'll automatically set wood as the task you're working on when you need it.
@@schoolmonkey13you can set the campfire on high and wood on low, do to the need of wood for the campfire and campfire being the highest priority, it will get wood to make the campfire. Simple
I really liked this! I would love to see another video on this game!
I wanna see you and the wholesomeverse try to speedrun this game as a podcast. like all of you discovering different ways to do this (or wait until its complete for this)
I would love to see more of this game. Thank you for the great content.
Seems cool and I hope to see at least one more video of this.
Dude, you need to show more of this.....
I love this game, thank you! I think I'll buy it
Definitely will wait to see the next part 😍
I finished the demo yesterday, exported my save and started over. On my first run this time, I survived for 14 minutes and 5 seconds (just over 15 minutes seems to be the limit until you can build the stone hut), collected 140 berries, caught 39 fish, and died cooking the last of those fish. The other tasks I started but didn't complete were the stone hut -- I built 20% of it -- and chopping the last piece of wood for the next 20% of the hut.
The best time to build the carts seems to be after unlocking the tenth skill, but before using it -- just like exploring the cave exit causes you to lose the berry-collection job, completing the first exploration that uses the tenth skill causes you to lose _all_ your jobs except catching fish, cooking fish, and cooking the rabbits that you can hunt after you cross the lake. (I don't know what jobs are available after completing the following exploration, since that's where the demo ends.)
I just finished the demo again -- this time it took me 21 runs (instead of 24) totaling 7:13:44 of unpaused time, with the final run taking 22:53.
Fun fact: their is ice cream in Zootopia, ice cream is a dairy product, this implies someone is being milked to produce dairy products
You dont have to use milk to make an ice cream
@@rpesel I mean you don't, buuuuuuut I didn't think the average person would know that, so I was basically betting on their ignorance
@@theemperorofcrustaceans9523 lol
Id really love to see you start a series on this game. Please make more of these videos :)
I would love to see you play this more!
This is a chill freaking game, bought it as soon as I could, and would love to see more of this game.
Love to see more. Just keep doing you.
Building the cart allows you to store more berries and cooked fish, letting you do more explorations and constructions on a full pantry
i think buying the hut as early as possible is better than later because it will give you more time of less health decay. also the scaling is exponential and based on the current health decay so having a consistent low health decay gives you more time to do other tasks without needing to get more food immediately in the long run.
I think this would be an interesting game to see you do a series on. I wouldn't mind watching a series at the very least. Keep up the great content, Reto!!
Yo reto, just an observation maybe someone could run the numbers on to figure out if I'm wrong. It seems like you would get more value from the hut the earlier you put it down so rushing woodcutting and dropping a hut as early as possible. I believe the lower the number you can achieve the more free time you technically open up for yourself. Someone let me know if in just a dumdum and figuring it wrong.
16:33 yes it is important to build the cart and other buildings as it helps you with new plans and gives you exp for your construction 🛠 allowing you to construct items even faster than the last generation
Please play more of this!! I love this
Love to see more
I would love to see you play more of this game!
this game looks so amazing! can't wait for more content from you on it!
Sometimes i just listened, and could still easily follow the progress, great game!
If you like minimalist idle games, you should try Melvor Idle
Absolutely would love to see you play this more
I would love a mini series of this :)
This would make a great mobile game. I wish it were too because I can't play it otherwise.
Have you ever played Your Chronicle? it’s a incremental text based adventure type game with tons of depth and mechanics. it doesn’t exactly explain things very well starting off but once you figure out what your doing it’s incredibly fun and actively being updated.
i could go for a full series of this. yeah thatd be nice. very relaxng and funny
Love to see this as a series
This game is amazing, I’ve dumped maybe 20 hours into it so far, and I’m at 14% max completion, however, it would be near impossible to make a whole series out of it, specifically because of how much content there is in the game, and how long it takes to get there, as much as I would love to see reto play this game as a series, I just don’t think it’s viable.
Would love to see more of this
Nice game, i would like to see a series of it!!
god I would love to see more of this game
Interesting game for an incremental. A series might be interesting , just to see how the automation helps out.
More of this game plz!
Me- Screaming to build the hut first, then fill up on berries then fish
This game is like the game "Idle Loops" with a worse interface (for now?) but more potential because Idle Loops is not very good and kind of unfinished.
Hey Reto, the description on this is the one for Crush the Industry
An apple a day keeps resurrections at bay
this is a game i did not kow i needed thank you
Very relaxing to listen to
Relaxing love to see more
This was enjoyable to watch.
please play this game more!
I say just go all in on gathering berries first, so that way you can gather ten berries in a millisecond
A second video, if not more, would be nice to show people how automation works. :)
This game feels like its tricking me into grinding in Disgaea
This looks like it would appeal to anyone that plays a healer in your MMO of choice.... also I find myself wanting to try it.
Interested indeed, I would say. stream or series
I love this little game.
Near as I can tell, berries are a futile action at 1 Decay, fish are futile at 4.
Not competely if you can eat both at the same time.
More of thus game please
Kittens Game is an incremental civilisation building idle game
Cool game, might buy the full version as it's not too expensive and... it reminds me of the good old flash games.
Cool.
PLEASE PLAY THIS AGAIN PLEASE
we must know the number limit and get the biggest numbers
Loved this
Yo a serie on that game plz
Make four hours more of this game
If you wanna play an Idle Runescape, there is Melvor Idle.
is there a way to speed up the game? like cheat engine speedhack?
I hope you play this more
why am i hyped for this?
Please give us mores!
an apple a day keeps death at bay!
More episodes?
So no part 2?
Assuming youve played Melvor Idle?
It looks like a game that could be awesome in phone format
The podcast thing could be interesting
Is it available for Android?
This is the best
An apple a day keeps the die away
I really wish I could get this game but when I added steam funds to my account. It got flagged so now I can't buy things
$2.99? I bought it.
An apple a day... 🍎
welcome to cancer simulator.
ah the 5head early wooden hut strategy, lose less health decay in exchange for more engagement and comments from frustrated viewers
Would love to see more of this
