  • "I was very busy, I'm a single mum. I ran a very busy cleaning business and the time and I was exhausted. I've always been quite stressed and tired, but this was a different kind of tired and I knew that. I knew that something was wrong with me."
Faith from Brighton was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer in April 2020 at age 48. This is her story.

You know every cancer patient says " I knew there was something wrong with me" and doctors almost always blow this off. That's the problem! Take patients seriously !!

Thank you so much for taking the time to do your video . My 43 year old son was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer 1 month ago . He had a bowel resection 2 weeks ago and is waiting to have a liver ablation on the 20th of November . After that he will be undergoing chemo . As his mom I have been terrified . You have given me hope . Thank you ♡

Hi Faith, you are so strong and I wish all the best for you! I Was diagnosed in May 22 with bowel CA at the age of 44. I never expected this. My only symptom was an extremly tired and powerless feeling for weeks. But as a mom of three Kids and part time working as a nurse I thought I had to much stress that time. I went trough an 8 hour surgery with an Ileostoma at the end. After 12 Chemos it can be removed soon. My husband,my Kids and my friends gave me the strengh to get trough this and I'm very thankful to them and also for the professional and supporting doctors who were around me. Let us stay strong together and love our lives! 💪
    Hugs from Germany ❤

my wonderful wife died of bowel cancer last Tuesday the 4th 2022 a week ago leaving my 2daughters myself & our grandson
just lost! your earlier comment about going to your doctor was just the same, in pain losing weight at yeovil hospital she was told it was gastric, 2 months waisted before we finally had a scan & then an immediate operation & 6months chemo at Musegrove hosp in Somerset, Why didn’t the doctors at Glastonbury surgery send her much sooner for the scan? I & my daughters now face live without a mother & a wife of 49 years! were they too busy being paid for covid jabs? or just bad doctors? if you put her symptoms in your ipad it just says bowel cancer? sorry but we are going through hell . Bob

It's actually completely sad that most doctors aren't helping people until the cancer has gotten really bad. I've been following another situation because of the lack of medical assistance she's terminal and suffering horribly during the final stages of her life. Because no one took her seriously for 2 years, they handed her a death sentence. Is there anything that can be done to these Drs? Otherwise, others will continue to die.

You know something is wrong. You go to a doctor and they just fob you off.
This needs to stop and they take patients concerns seriously.
I had bad psoriasis. Year after year. GP after GP gave me rubbish steroid creams. I insisted on seeing a specialist. A trip to the hospital to see a dermatologist they prescribed me a cream and my psoriasis is gone.
