Many thanks, I made the switch to trade gold exclusively and this was exactly what I needed.. The US 10 Year bond yield seems to work like charm with it's inverse relationship to Gold more so than the DXY Chart.. Amazing!

This Zip strategy is nice. Just in sideward movements it gives a lot of wrong signals and it also miss a lot of good trades if it gets more curvy. Take care in sideward movements with this, it might cost ya al lot of money! With this strategy only go into the trade if it's really clear that it goes in the direction you think.

I was blown away when you added the Gold chart and the DXY chart together and recognised the inverse relationship the have. I was thinking in my head this has to be cheating, but it was something that I always knew in the back of my mind trading. Hope to join your community soon, thank you for the knowledge.

Gold corelates more with bonds rather than usd... U can prove my theory just by checking most recent data... Gold is the best hedging asset against inflation. Thats why countries are buying gold....

I gave up on crossovers because MAs are lagging indicators and by the time they have crossed, the entry is missed in a lot of instances, or the SLs are too far away. When they work it is possible to ride the long ride so if you have an appetite for a low win-rate, then the rewards are possible if you can withstand the false-starts. IMO.

Kathy, you usually explain things simply and precisely and that is a gift. But in the beginning of the video you are discussing the relationship between gold and the US dollar, and at the 8 minute mark, you are discussing the relationship between gold and the US 10 year yield, which are two different things. Is this intentional? Did I miss something? Please advise. Thanks.
Yes! I wanted to show what matters to gold
Trade gold according to the price action it shows in the chart. Trade the dollar according to the price action it shows in the chart. There’s no reason to trade 1 chart, based on what another says. It’s good to “be mindful of it”, but not physically trade it base on another chart. It is not a 100% opposite, which means it’s not to be taken 100% into consideration. Whatever gold chart says, trade it. Whatever the dollar says, trade go for it. If they happen to be aligned, that’s awesome and no loss.

@@MeryamFraji You have to learn market structure. Period. No matter how many strategies someone attempts, at the end of the day...the strategies only last for so long. Knowledge of market structure will allow you to trade stocks, crypto, currencies, etc. people have to stop approaching this as if it’s a project in high school that they can sheet from and gain a passing grade. This isn’t that. People have to sit down, learn the basics of trading, write out a trading plan, backrest their trading style, have a full understanding of risk management, and trade in demo until they are in profit for $15k at least 3 times in a row before trading live with cash. Anything outside of this is called gambling and no one wants to hear about you loosing money when you haven’t out the work in the test out your trading style. You need patients, confidence, commitment, etc. Yes, it may require many sacrifices and hours on the chart. Don’t cry an out it, just do the work and know you’ll reap the benefits of your labor. If not, continue to sit at that job and make that boss more Mullins while you continue to miss out on spending time with family, traveling and overall having a better quality of life.

The moving average crossover is not encouraged, it is lagging. Most of the time one will enter late in the trades. Dont use that
You will loose all the trades when the market is ranging, trust me.

Gold and DXY correlation will blow your accounts "BEWARE!!!", don't be fooled. Show us your live trade using this correlation then maybe people should start paying attention to your tips.

Indicators lag and creates a space for you to get into the market much later than the actual move, which means you’ll leave a lot of money on the table. Just study the candles so you’ll know when to get in and out of the market specifically.
