How to make battery level indicator circuit at home

You are showing 220 K ohms resister in figure & using 220 ohms resistor in connection. The colour code clearly indicates it as 220 ohms.

Can you make this turn green when the voltage is reaching 4 volt?
Because 3.7v is only the average voltage of the battery it's only like 50% charge
The full charge voltage for li-ion battery is at least 4 - 4.25 Volt

Judging from your viewers' reactions, it seems you've raised more questions than provided answers. Without the track, all concerned would've dropped dead from boredom (not that said track was all that hot). These sort of demos only make sense if they include a graphic indication of current flow and an explanation of how the various components work in the circuit. Sorry, I'm not a physics type, but I would've learnt much with more clarity being offered. I must hasten to say that I do know what resistors, capacitors, transistors and diodes do - at the basic level, of course!
