Beautiful guitar. The tones pouring out of it. Wow. And it looks amazing. As for your closing question: I had forgot just how much joy I get from playing acoustically. I picked up a Yamaha APX last year and was reminded. So, after listening to you play for the last year or so I made the jump to a 414ce and never been happier. I was raised on folk by a Folky-Mom who played the market coffee houses in Toronto during the 60s and I guess it was passed on. Anyway, another informative video and, as always, loved the playing. Thank you, Megan.
Me too, 2001, and I love it. I took out the Fishman and had a Rosewood cover plate made for it, where the big preamp was removed. I also had a wood pick guard made for it.
I have the 814 ce before they came out with the V bracing.. It was a retirement present to myself ... I think it's equal to a martin and better than a Gibson.. That's just my opinion .. The Frye Guy
Beautiful looking and sounding guitar, but too expensive by far, and the taylor reputation for falling apart worries me....not that I want or could afford one...lol.
Sorry but this Taylor or any V class bracing of high end Taylor guitar will never have that "bassy" tones. Heck even an opened up wood of an Epiphone Masterbilt will sound better than this. I've owned a 2014 Taylor 614ce...sold it off even if the woods are opened up, still sounds thin as well. All the new Taylor I've tried sounds all similar even the builders editions, up to 914. Yes they play well, but sound wise.. Sorry. Martin sounds better even though it's harder to play cause it requires larger hands. Why didn't they mention this is a 4 piece top wood?

Wow this looks and sounds absolutely amazing! The chords sounds really lush and the individual notes are very articulate.
Was lucky to find a used 815-ce 20 years ago. Still looks and sounds great even with the older style bracing. Can’t recommend Taylor enough.

I’ve been in the fence about spending the money on this one but you may have pushed me off the fence with your fantastic demo! Good job!!
Have you checked out the 50th anniversary edition
I think of the days when guitar prices were actually sane...she's got a great job!
I would like to see the comparison between Taylor and Larrivée,both top of the line...
$4500…it’s beautiful, but I could never afford one.
Keep an eye on the reputable used shops. I just picked up a 414ce after trading 2 of my many electrics and it was worth it.
Isnt this the adirondack top with 4 pieces? That's why the strumming is so lush.

Yes yours must sound better than this newer "4 piece"🤦 top.
Great guitar, great girl ❤, great playing, and I love all my Taylors
4 piece top,..Run!!
Beautiful looking and sounding guitar, but too expensive by far, and the taylor reputation for falling apart worries me....not that I want or could afford one...lol.
None of my Taylors have fallen apart. Bib Baby, 2001 814 ce, and a pre v class 562ce
A 4 piece top should cost less than a one piece.
4 piece is the correct way to build a guitar, one piece is cheap guitar characteristic.
@@xxxanonimo4974 I would agree that a two piece is a correct way, but not a 4 piece. The glue dulls the vibration.
