Major league baseball is a joke. The ratings are awful, it's not attracting young fans, the game is too slow and it's not even played in black communities. And yes, it's number one star does not speak English!! That's a problem. Period...hard stop.
Stephen A. may have been a little heavy handed with Ohtani but he spoke to a bigger truth. MLB is doing a TERRIBLE job marketing this sport. That is what I think Stephen A. was trying to address.

There's a youtube video titled "Shohei Ohtani speaking English for two minutes straight" which clearly shows Ohtani speaks English sometimes (like when he accepted AL rookie of the year) so i don't know what Stephen A Smith was even talking about with his stupid comment.
