Thank you for this informative video. My printer has the same problem. Can you make a video showing how to take the printer apart to get to the main board please? Thanks
Yes, very interesting. We have a hp7640. And seems to work fine for now, very low usage. The only thing we do not like is the subscription arrangement with hp. It is very difficult to cancel and use your own choice of cartridges.
Yeah that's what I heard I was thinking of buying an HP 9015E to replace this one but I'm not liking the fact that you have to register it in order to use it even as a standalone printer. Least that's what I've gleaned from everything I haven't opened up the boxes yet because I was waiting to see what the outcome of this project was going to be. I know eventually I'll need a new printer but not sure if I'll keep this HP one or not
I would never buy an HP printer again precisely because of their subscription shenanigans. They rope you in with a free first cartridge and I think a free first month, plus their printers that require the subscription are much lower-priced to start. But then if you want to use your printer, you have to have the printer connected to a registered account with a card on file, and you're charged a subscription fee monthly even if you didn't need to order ink. If you opt out, they can remotely disable your printer, so it's the biggest paperweight. I ended up recycling mine within a year and just buying a Canon. Canon is still going strong 4 years later.
Thank you for your work.

@TheLiberaceTheory Yep got to agree. Do not think we would choose an hp printer again.
Please show us how to change circuit board

Can I hire you to fix my printer!
Is it the same printer? Unfortunately The cost of a new printer It's cheaper than fixing the old one.
What if your printer is left-handed?

@@Bassguitarist1985 Because it doesn't make any sense, but it was mainly a reference to the guitars.
@@Billkwando Roger that sorry! My sense of humor needs an overhaul today. Thank you so much for watching!
