    Really like your bonus tip, about keeping focus on the audience as well as not thinking about "how could I look smarter or how am I being perceived."

    Beautifully explained. Thank you... Please make a video about Hand Gesture while communicating, especially on videos. I struggle with hand gestures and sometimes feel awkward while doing it. Feels like forcing the hand movements and get over conscious about it that it might look weird to the audience.

    Hey Ipsita!
    I would like to bring forth the main problem I really feel I have gone through while public speaking and that was the 'content'. Whenever I go on stage, I feel like i have no idea about this topic or even though i had before coming to the stage, it all vanishes after looking at the audience when I stand on stage.
    Also tips about dressing since the way you carry yourself confidentially and also your dresses seem to have impact and contrast.

      I always tell my clients to have the first 5 -10 lines of their talk really well rehearsed. The rest you can speak as you go however KNOWING your opening body matter really well makes sure you start strong because that is where your chances of getting nervous are the highest which then threatens to derail the rest of the talk.

    How to structured your mind to yapping more + meaning more?/ To think with greater clarity, purpose, and depth? While it may take time to master, what are the first steps to embark on this transformative journey, especially when you lack a supportive circle of people around you?
    P.S. Hey @UA-cam, Channel deserves more views.

      I see you have come from my Instagram stories :) To yap more and mean more at the same time your best approach is to KNOW your subject really well - know about 10x more units of how much you are gonna speak (1x). Pick a central problem you are passionate about and align your research around solving that one question

    Ipsita i hope this good content reaches millions ! "Shifting the spotlight from yourself to your audience helps reduce anxiety" -- I will definitely try that. I had a question . Conviction and Imposter syndrome - both enemies, so how do we deal with or balance them. Thank you in advance !

      Welcome to the gang and more good stuff is coming ❤

    • @hellooipsita
      @hellooipsita  Місяць тому +1

      The moment you realise that even the most successful people go through imposter syndrome and that it’s not a unique experience to you, it loses its power over you. Confidence is not because it’s DESPITE. Conviction comes easiest when you KNOW the subject really well, believe in it and believe in its usefulness. Confidence doesn’t necessarily have to do with the subject it’s more to do with YOU as a person. So confidence and conviction don’t necessarily have to go hand in hand :)

    Underated channel !
    Great tips thank you :)
    Also could you tell a bit about speed while public speaking ,i tend to speak very fast in front of audience😅.Any solutions?

    • @hellooipsita
      @hellooipsita  Місяць тому +1

      2 reasons why you speak fast:
      1. A pause feels 5x longer on stage than to the audience. So just know this and pace your speaking.
      2. You don’t believe what you re saying is worth listening to so you try to ram through it :) instead take your time know that what is obvious to you might not be obvious info to the audience. It might just be useful to them.

    I'd be honored to receive back a response from you... I totally agree that communication is very much important if we are moving to the corporate world or business world as the market demands and requires good communicators... My question to you is - Is communicating in english very crucial for success in the corporate world or can i still thrive in hindi as my primary language as i am very confident in it ?

    • @hellooipsita
      @hellooipsita  Місяць тому +1

      As long as the room doesn’t require you to speak in ‘English’ ANY language you have command over is your X factor! As long as you speak with conviction (tip 2 in this video) your listener will be hooked to you.

    Also, mention how did you prepare for those 35+ target audience to keep them engaged and attentive... :)

    • @hellooipsita
      @hellooipsita  Місяць тому

      A good start is to get intel on the demographics of your audience - age, gender split, geographical location, profession etc. Get into their head. Recognise your audience’s pain point. WHY are they attending your talk?
      If you attended my last international talk with Mark pollard and Sweathead, I provided my exact prep template.

    Knowing these tips is one thing...but actually being able to apply these while you are consumed with anxiety on the stage is another thing...how do we bridge that gap?

    • @hellooipsita
      @hellooipsita  Місяць тому

      The only way across is THROUGH. Start speaking at low stakes environments, a friend in front of who you can afford making a fool of yourself, a casual chat with the grocery guy, a shaky toast at your sister’s wedding. Fail fast and you will get better with repetition.

    Changing the camera angles doesn't feel comfortable. Maybe try out so other angles but this one feels like not much good and interesting.
    But perfectly crafted content, thanks.
