    ➡️ 1. Ginseng
It's an herb that has been used in traditional Asian medicine for centuries. Ginseng is known for its potent antioxidant properties which work well for fighting inflammation. Not only is this beneficial for your lungs, it's also good for pretty much all the organs and systems of the human body.
    ➡️ 2. Osha Root
The roots of this herb contain several components that can provide a boost to your lungs and respiratory system. Specifically, it helps increase blood circulation to the lungs which, in turn, helps improve oxygenation throughout the entire body.
    🟦 Examples include:
    ▪ Cough
    ▪ Sore throat
    ▪ Bronchitis
    ▪ Common colds
    ➡️ 3. Eucalyptus
The eucalyptus tree has been a source of food for wildlife for centuries, but it wasn't until later on that humans discovered its positive health benefits. The leaves of a eucalyptus tree can be distilled and diluted into an essential oil which can be used for medicinal purposes such as treating sinus congestion, common cold, fever, and other respiratory ailments.
    ➡️ 4. Elderberry
You've probably heard of this one, and maybe you've even tried it at some point because it's a plant that has become wildly popular over recent years. The reason is, elderberry is known for its antimicrobial, antibacterial, and antifungal properties.
    ➡️ 5. Astragalus
This herb became popular in Chinese medicine and is known for its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory components. Studies found that the astragalus root can boost the body's resistance to infections and increase immune responses.
    ➡️ 6. Horehound
The horehound leaf, which comes from the mint family, is actually a common ingredient in cough drops and cough syrup. That is because its natural properties work as an expectorant to aid in the removal of mucus and secretions from the lungs.
    ➡️ 7. Bergamot
Bergamot is a citrus tree that is known for its ability to relieve feelings of stress and anxiety, but it contains properties that can make breathing easier as well.
    ➡️ 8. Lavender
Lavender is a plant that is found all over the world but many don't realize that its properties have been used for medicinal and religious purposes for hundreds of years. Studies found that Lavender may offer benefits for those with COPD.
    ➡️ 9. Peppermint
Peppermint is an herb that is native to the Mediterranean region and, as its name suggests, is also part of the mint family. The leaves of a peppermint tree can be formulated into an essential oil that was discovered to have analgesic, antiseptic, and antimicrobial properties that offer an array of benefits when it comes to improving your breathing.
    ➡️ 10. Mullein
It's another herb that has traditionally been used as a remedy for the lungs and respiratory tract thanks to its soothing ingredients. The mullein leaf has antibacterial properties that fight against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.

COPD is a horrible disease! My mother died of it at the young age of 49. She was a life-long smoker. As I stood over her casket I made a promise to stop smoking. It so difficult to quit smoking but I did. Anyone watching this video to help stop smoking I send out a prayer to you!

I have stage 4 COPD. Im 58yr female. I had a bag of potting mix , pulled it open and whilst being face over it, i breathed in warm wet air, full of bacteria and spores. 3 days later massive lung infection. 3 months later couldn't breathe without struggling. Multiple tests, COPD diagnosis. I never realised how aggressive it is, and how debilitating. I also had 2x heart valve replacements, so alot of pressure on my heart. I just got out of ICU 22 days in hospital, found out im a CO2 retainer. So now i cant even have oxygen during an exacerbation as its lethal. Im happy, im positive, im actually in a sense relieved and am determined to get another 10yrs out of this mortal life. I cant wait to try some of these herbs. Mother Nature Rocks. Love ,Light, Happiness. Louise, Australia 🇦🇺 ❤

Reminder: essential oils are bad for you. They destroy the immune system similarly to antibiotics via a few mechanisms including destroying gut biome. Boil an onion and drink the broth. Peel garlic, chop and put in honey jar. Ready the next day, you take a spoon of honey and or chopped garlic. Eating a sauteed onion works the best out of everything I've ever tried though. I'd feel sickness set in and it goes away, even as my family continues on with a cold. You can find mullein under the snow if you don't have it.

Born and raised in Los Angeles (Boyle Heights). During the 50’s, 60’s & 70’s, we were fortunate to live in a diverse city were natural herbs stores owned by Mexican, Japanese and Chinese herbalists shared their natural product for almost any ailment(s) you had. I was amazed at the hundreds of herbs, roots, seeds, dried chicken cartridge (used by Chinese) and their knowledge of how to use each one of them. They were the herb pharmacies of my time. I’ve been to other Countries were they’re still used and the scents bring me back to my youth. Today, in my mid-late 60’s and I still believe in the natural way. ❤️

they push a "pill for every ill". Pharma pills ONLY alleviate symptoms, they dont cure ya. For every pill - due to it being a "foreign" compound, the body actually works against this invader. SOME is absorbed, while that is going on, your body is being depleted of other nutrients (mostly magnesium), which causes more bodily function problems (you can google: medications that deplete your body), so you go to the dr to alleviate those new probs, add another pill... pretty soon you are on 10 drugs. Like statins - they deplete your body of COQ10, etc

I do this too but without cinnamon but with black pepper to activate the turmeric. I also add two green tea teabags. I make it really strong (too strong to drink neat), a Pyrex jug full, then pour a little into a glass and dilute with soda water. As the liquid in the jug diminishes I top up again with boiling water to get the rest of the goodness out of the ingredients, usually the second round doesn’t need diluting. One small glass a day. It’s lovely and refreshing, tastes great and it may or may not be related but I rarely get colds and only had covid once.. 😊. I used to make it without garlic but last time I added one grated clove and wow.. it was good before but what a taste change that brought, love it!

Ginger is my go-to for helping with wheezing and shortness of breath to keep my asthma away! I make candies out of them. Just peel, slice into circles, boil in water with a tiny bit of sugar and ground cinnamon for sweetness until they become soft and then drain them (save the left over sugar water for syrup!! which is great for tea or coffee!!) put them into the dehydrator until they’re hard and dried out (leave in longer to dry them out completely if storing long term) and you have ginger ‘candies’. You can add elderberry syrup to the water for an extra boost or pretty much anything else for flavor-lemon, oranges, mangoes, etc.
It helps almost immediately for wheezing and clears up any phlegm! I haven’t had to use my inhaler in a few years after using ginger! I always keep some on hand and plenty in the pantry! Any tiny pieces that were too small to make into larger ‘candy’ pieces get picked out and separated to be dried together when I put the batches in the dehydrator and I add it to my tea after it’s dried out.

@@nishantha1144 The secret to a good cold brew is distilled water. Distilled water is very "pulling" - just pour over whatever you want to brew, refrigerate, and shake once a day. The water turns a very dark green - then you drink it. I also cold brew some of my herbs with great results - better than alcohol herb tinctures.

I make a homeade vapor rub that has some of the ingredients mentioned in this video. I do 1 cup coconut oil, one cup beeswax, 40 drops of eucalyptus oil, 40 drops of peppermint oil, 20 drops of lavender, and 20 drops of lemon oil. Now that I know of bergamot I might try it too. But anyways the rub is amazing, it's the best household staple when the cold or any nasty virus wants to come around. We put it on our chest, back, and feet before bed and if we have a really heavy cough it's gone within an hour. Truly remarkable what nature can do for us. I appreciate this video I wrote it all down in my notes even the ones I knew about so I can refer to it later and spread the word. I will definitely look into buying the other herbs I didn't know about, I love holistic medicine the earth is so giving ... God always provides!

@@elizabethmountney6243 Yay let me know how it goes! I usually boil water, then put the coconut oil and beeswax in a glass container and set in it the water. This indirectly heats it and helps it melt. The beeswax can be a bit stubborn at first, it takes a little bit. If it needs to be a smoother consistency you can add more coconut oil and/or hemp seed oil which helps it spread a little easier. Trust me you'll love it! It smells amazing as well. 😍

@@surfw50 I'm hoping it helps you as much as it does for us. Im just getting over a virus and when I was stuffy and congested I'd put it on, it's so soothing on the sinuses and helped with the mucus. If you have any questions while making it let me know. I use 1 cup coconut oil and like 1/3 cup of beeswax. It's a good idea to melt the coconut oil first otherwise you will be waiting a longer time for the beeswax to melt down. Once brought to a boil I usually drop the temp setting all the way to one of the lowest settings and keep it going while I mix the wax and the coconut oil together. Once completed melted I take it off the stove and put the essential oils in before it starts to solidify. Personally I use Mason jars, I find they work very well for the melting process. They are good for storage and they are meant for pressure cooking so they seem to be build thicker and better. If I could give the world this vapor rub I would. I've given it to friends, coworkers, and family as gifts. The peppermint and eucalyptus are the healing components in the mixture and I've gotta say my favorite parts they are what makes the magic happen. Anyways good luck, enjoy, and have a blessed day ☺️

There are a number of tinctures one can make. Maybe 15 years ago some old timers had mentioned done they drank a tablespoon of daily and it greatly helped their diabetes and among other issues. I decided to give it a try. Equal parts grated ginger, garlic, horseradish root, onion, and hot peppers. Add some honey and cover with raw, unfiltered ACV. Shake every day for a month, then squeeze the rest of the liquid out of the solids. I took it daily for a few years and never got so much as a cold. I got lazy and stopped doing it and I was again susceptible to season allergies, colds, etc. Not badly as I'm a pretty healthy person, but it was very noticeable. I only recently began a new batch. It'll be done just in time as everything starts to be coated yellow with pollen. My area of the south is listed as the absolute worst for it as we have every form of forest (as far as pollen producing) in America in the same place. I'm curious how if it has the same effect as it did years ago or if it was just a coincidence.

Yes it is and japanese peppermint essential oil is the best of them. I had a very bad influensa in 2012 with difficulty in breathing -shortness of breath and I honestly thought I might not take another before I somehow managed to. I sprinkled a few drops of the japanese peppermint oil in hot steaming water and breathed in the steam. It is important to close your eyes during this procedure because the steam contains the oil and it is not good for the eyes. But this procedure probably saved me from going to hospital och dying. I repeated the procedure for the next day and night and my breath got easier and easier. Later my brother´s little son had a croup-like fit and my brother then poured a hot bath, sprinkled some drops of the oil and then sat with his son in the bathroom (not in the tub but next to it) with closed doors. His son got better and restored to normal breath. So when I get a cold och an influensa I start immediately using peppermint oil - sprinkling it on a cloth next to my pillow.

Now when I feel a cold or other breathing ailment coming on here comes the mint coke. I also keep a small bottle of it in my pocket at all times. It's good for so much more.

@@terrytarpley2953 Try calling health food places, checking out any Indian/ethnic food stores that sell spices, too. I have a package in front of me from 'Sher' and they are also called Methi seeds. You need to experiment with the quantity of seeds you need to soak. Maybe start with 1 heaping tablespoons and build as needed. Also, should use periodically, not just one time. Good luck.

You're both welcome. There are also many dry tea lung formulations as well as ready made herbal liquids for the lungs. Other commonly used herbs in formulas include but not limited to: angelica root, wild cherry bark, horsetail, Irish moss, marshmallow root, mullein leaf, Licorice root...
(Always good to check for any interactions if on any prescriptions)
