Where I live it’s only -6.7° c out side, So after watching about two minutes of this video I decided to restart it and open a window and watch the video while sitting in front the window. It was awesome It kinda felt like I was actually on the roller coaster.
Great ride in a winter wonderland. I play this video on my 169 inch curved home theater screen with full sound in a motion sensing chair. I turn down the A/C to 50 degrees and have fans blowing on me for the closest effect of this ride without going there. I can "ride it" as often as I want, lol.
wow such snow! have no seen such in india. thank you for sharing such views of the world, love to to experience through youtube the places i cannot be otherwise
I am in Canada in the great white north. I would love to be in India where “LIFE” is EVERYWHERE... I would love to taste your food and culture. Indians are all so colorful and musical.
Just an FYI: Calculating length of track against the time stamp in the video from when you started the run, to the finish line: You were averaging 25.22 miles per hour (40.59 k/hr). Pretty darn fast!
It looks like a fun ride especially in the snow. When I think of an alpine coaster I think of one surrounded by snow. It's not the longest, however. That would be the Tobotronc in Andorra with a 17,400 ft track. It's in the Guinness Book of World Records.
Looks like fun and I like that it's fast but not high off the ground...it's counterpart is the Great Smokey Mountains roller coaster also featured on UA-cam.
note to self... add this to bucket-list. very cool ride, must have cost quite a bit to build, and kudos to the engineers who designed it with all those terrain and elevation variables must have been a nightmare
At least this one uses a ski lift. Most of the alpine coasters I have seen have a 7 minute loud lift hill in with not much good to look at on the way up
The lift on the right side as you go down the mountain is specifically just for taking the cars back up to the top. You get the best view of it at the very start at the top when the track goes directly under it. The lift has special arms that hook onto the loop in the center of the car to give the cars a lift ride back up to the top. You can see it better on other videos on UA-cam taken in the Summer. For whatever reason they were not running the return lift when this video was taken.
vielen dank fürs filmen und hoch laden wenn man daheim sitzt und selbst grad nich fahren kann sehr erfrischend vor allem da es im schnee is was hier in der gegend leider selten is
How much does it cost to ride this? I was thinking this would be quite the cool way to commute to work in the morning and a better pick-me-up than a cup of coffee.
Let's eat Grandpa I grew up in a state we’re we saw at least three feet ever winter. Then we moved here to Washington it rains too much and NO SNOW beyond the rare Heavy Storm. 1996 we got 3.5 Feet in a series of storms. Hasn’t frigging snowed more than inch or two since. I really miss Snow.
Unfortunately NOT the longest in the world!! The longest in the world is the TOBOTRONC in Andorra, with a length of 5300m, a drop of 400m. And trust me, it also is a fantastic ride, only 2000m longer than the one in Imst.
@@kylesenior Yes I can imagine they would build it for winter conditions in the mountains and that they would have the technology available, especially considering there is a skilift (as in a whole bunch of stainless steel) next to it.
What an awesome video! We'd love to use this on our website for our upcoming weather forecast, with a credit back to your UA-cam channel or website! Let us know how you'd like to be credited ASAP as we'll be releasing our new extended forecast for 2020 soon! :-)
Marvelous. Enjoyed watching that. Thank you for not adding irritating music to the video.
That has to be one of the most scenic and calming rides I've ever seen.
Now, THAT's "Dashing Through the Snow...."
Wow! I would ride that all day! as soon as I'd get to the bottom I'd be back on the skilift and back on it again!
That would be rather expensive.
1 ride = $15.78
3 rides = $41.92
10 rides = $135.62
Yep though the same thing xd
Three rides seems worth it.

o.o Amazing views while hurtling down a mountain on a tea tray.

Never heard of a motion sensing chair. Probably take me 25 yrs to save for it.
Haha
Sure okay
I live there I can also ride it every day lol
I love this technique! Low to the ground and quick at the start. Beautiful scenery!!! Long , Beautiful, smooth and quiet!! Yahoo!!!
Absolutely beautiful ride....I love snowy mountains like this, best scenery on any ride!

An Austrian alpine coaster which is 2.19 miles long (world's longest). You ride a ski lift to get to the starting point so it's all downhill.
Looks like the longest and most fun anyone could have. Thanks!

I kept thinking the yeti from SkiFree would eventually come out running from the woods

I'd love to see a coaster plow new snow off the track.
Wonder how they clear the snow off the tracks?
This is FANTASTIC!! I'd love to do this but will never get the chance so thank you so much for sharing 👍👍

That was pleasant, real smooth and quite. The one we have a Heavenly sound like a heavy ass train on worn out track's.
This is fun. It's even more fun at 1.5 x the normal speed! 😀👍
Who or what was that running thru the snow as you came out of a turn around the 2:35 mark?
That was fun! Thanks for sharing!
Awesome. 3.5 kms of cool, quiet peace.
Perfect with one exception the audio is too low. Otherwise I think this might be my fav alpine footage.
I just subbed. That is a very long beautiful ride.
Hey, what’d you do this weekend-
Oh! Nothin’ much, just watched videos of people having lives while I lack in one.
Nice seeing the ride in the winter with snow on the ground.
Omg I love this!! It's an absolutely brilliant idea!
Awesome coaster in snow!! Rollercoasters shut down here in winter snow
Wait til you get to the part with the vertical loop, it looks awesome!
Beautiful ride. I bet the wind chill is brutal though.
Thanks for sharing that with us°°
Great video. Thanks for posting this. Have a nice day.
I was just curious is how do they get the cars back up to the top again
I wonder if the ride is faster in summer or winter or just the same
Would have seen a bit more but mammary mountain was along for the ride!
May I use this footage in a video I'm making on the world's longest alpine coasters? I will give your channel full credit in a subtitle.
A TPC appears
Yep go ahead
that cost about a months salary for that?
Good Footage.
How do they get the cars back to the top
Reddy Kilowatt They chop down the trees at the top to make new cars.
:-D
Seriously I was thinking the same and want to know too

thank you for the ride, that was great
I LOVE THIS....VERY SCENIC !!!
All that track must have cost a fortune.
That's on my bucket list!
As I was watching the coaster go through the woods all i could think about is what do they do if an animal is on the track
where's the sound?? it was all quiet, I like hearing the sound as they go downhill, but that's just me, beautiful scenery

@@steinadler4193 It's what the coaster type is called, not that it's built in the alps.
So awesome in the snow
Where is this Alpine slide at ?
That has to be the worlds longest roller coaster in running time and length

I'd hate to be the one who has to dig the track out when it gets covered. Plus, cold tends to crack things, so...that would be a bad way to find out.
