Though, my mom always said it was because I didn’t pay attention, even though I was only 3. I don’t hold it against her, but ugh. Wish I could have grown up in ballet. I’ve actually hand applied hotfix crystals to dance costumes professionally in the past. I was a hand beader in a costume shop in NYC. Those shoes have very small hotfix stones, and the pair probably would have taken me a day of work. Not to brag or anything, but I was very fast with hand hotfixing, I had a hot plate and two pairs of tweezers and I was like a machine.
I'm not even 30 seconds in yet and am already clear that watching this is a good decision. Watching Josephine react to unexpectedly good double pirouettes is delightful.

I would be happy to rhinestone a pair of pointe shoes for you! I did some with larger "stones" for decoration in the dance wear store I worked at before the world went bonkers. Sadly our little store couldn't recover from the major hit it took when we had to shut down and ended up closing for good. For yours I would use better, smaller stones of course.

Hi Josephine I'm in pre-pointe going into pointe in September. I had my fitting a few days ago and even though my feet and body are ready and when I was asked to go up on pointe I was easily able to but the shoe was twisting weirdly not following the curve of my foot. My teacher and fitter thought it might be my big arch in my feet but I tried softer and harder shoes and they all twisted in the same way. My teacher said that she doesn't know what's wrong and she's never seen such an extreme case. Another thing is that my foot is very compressable and when I step on it it's very wide but I go up on pointe and there's space for two adult fingers to fit in on the heel but when trying a smaller shoe it was very painful off pointe and in plie. I was told to get a second opinion and I was hoping u might have seen similar cases. If you know of any solutions to these problems that would be great! Thanks in advance.

*story time* I’m sitting at the admissions lobby at a college right now while my brother is touring. I was doing work, but got tired so ended up watching this (worth it💕). Josephine USF on that sweatshirt is university of southern Florida 😂 green is their primary color and I saw the Bull logo on it. Also the Savannah bananas are a super popular minor league team that is very much into the entertainment aspect of the game rather than just the game itself their games sell out a lot I think.
