    I've been on this tour, 13 years ago! It was so hard to explain to people why it was so cool. You did an excellent job.

    I’m from Kansas I’ve been here it’s very fun. And I love how they have normal bathrooms down in the mine.

      So much of the visit here was unique and interesting to see how they are able to have a mobile city underground was fascinating!!

    Industry as tourism is a unique concept. Maybe visiting places like these will help people appreciate the work it takes to get things we take for granted every day. Great video once again young lady.

      Thank you!! I agree it is interesting to see how things are created and how things run well beyond what most of us typically see. It was such a strange feeling to know that people worked underground so deep and it really was like an entirely different world down there.

    The Dirty Jobs guy has done some great work sharing the less promoted jobs out there. Looks like some tough work in there also.

    I never knew a place like this existed for tourists. You always find the best places to go. Thanks for finding this one, I will be adding it on my list next time I pass through Kansas. Any other suggestions for that area?

      No problem!! I like to find the unique places that aren't as often thought of... sure I love the common attractions along the way and the outdoor spaces but the geek in me loves to find things to help me learn more!!

    I really enjoy how much detail you share on a variety of different kinds of locations. I have found several locations I would love to share with you if possible and see how you would cover them. Can we submit them to you?

    Also, will you be doing an additional blog post for this location? I would love to see a bit more of the detail broken down for those who do not have UA-cam. I would share it on my Facebook if you do because I think places like this are important.

    Btw if you look on ikea I think they have a light that you can put under those crystals to make them glow like a lamp

      I will let my mom know ... she is taking the big ones to the school to help teach the kiddos so that might be something she would like for a display!!

  • @jennyk7436
    @jennyk7436 3 роки тому +2

    HOW MANY CAN WE TAKE AND WHAT are those crystals called?

    • @BunnyPlaysHere
      @BunnyPlaysHere  3 роки тому +1

      The ones you are allowed to take on the tour, you can take one of for each person on the tour. These are massive unrefined salt crystals.. very cool.... in the gift shop they have larger ones like the ones mom took home for a very reasonable price... she ended up taking these and sealing them so she could share them with her students at school... they look fabulous!!

    Lol i have a bag of salt and i liked it… it also tasted crapy.

    • @BunnyPlaysHere
      @BunnyPlaysHere  2 роки тому +1

      They mentioned on the tour that it is not the right kind of salt for consuming.. their mine produces salt for road salting.

    Very awesome place to go! 👍 And if you have allergies, you will have a clear head for a good 12 - 24 hours. I felt rejuvenated after being in there! Not unlike breathing the air in the Dead Sea area in Israel. Get out and go to the salt mine.

      I agree there was no sniffling involved in this one LOL I was kind of nice because outside the weather was kind of dry and windy so it was really blowing around whatever was in the air
