This video gives hope to my oday 23 🤣😂 nice video 🍖
Thanks for posting the video! I just picked up a 1976 Kells 23 swing keel and trying to absorb as many of the non-existent posts I can find online! :)
No problem. That's awesome Tom! Yeah, not much info out there, but I can say it's been a good first sailboat.
Top notch content! It is only a matter of time before you can use your YT revenue to finance a bigger and bolder boat and lifestyle.
Good afternoon . I was the proud owner of a1976 Kells Coaster with wheel steering . The wheel was put on for the in the water boat show in Phila. I picked up a few boats and delivered them for a dealer from Penna . The longest trip I ever made with the boat was from Chatham MA. to Nantucket Island . Fun boat and trailered her from the Cape to the Chesapeake Bay area .
Good luck
That's awesome. It had to be the only one with a wheel.
1 million subscribers let's...GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
I'll start adding my shocked face cover photos now.
BTW, I've learned that the mail sheet is set-up as a Crosby Rig. I don't know too much about it other than it was designed by William F. Crosby an editor of Rudder magazine
Good to know. I was so confused by the cleat on the opposite side, but I just left it.
hilarious. keep it up ive watch all you videos
Thanks! I'll come up with something this winter to keep it going.
Very nice boat ! Im a very beginner sailor with zero experience my main halierd line is currently at the top of my mast and i cant get it down but i will climb the mast if i have too i have a tanzer 7.5 24 footer
Thanks! I'm still a rookie too. Everyone eventually loses a halyard at the top of the mast, but the Tanzer is a nice boat.
I have a 1978 Columbia, but it has a really similar design to your boat. I was wondering how you like the Tohatsu 6hp saildrive and could you motor with her a far distance in semi rough conditions?
It's a great motor and it's perfect for calm conditions and light winds. If you're looking at less than a meter seas it will get you around, anything else would be a slow trip, especially upwind.
planning sailing long distance?
That is the plan at some point, but I'm definitely going to need a bigger boat.
yes maybe you need bigger boat, at least for the comfort, greetings from Iceland@@captain-steve
We want bikinis!
I need to drop a few pounds, not quite ready for beach season.
