    • @Danny328DT
      @Danny328DT Рік тому +4

      Is life really easy though? We struggle to survive for basic necessities. That in return brings in stress, anxiety, and fear. Living a single life is expensive if you don't have friends or a spouse, the cost of living is hard so it's hard to raise families, and work eats away a lot of time in people. If life was simple, more people would be happy in this world. You can only find temporary relief from the world, and how you make your days count is up to the individual. So no, life is not simple I'm afraid. You still have to do things and struggle to live your life like the rest of us. Finding a bit of comfort and optimism is fine as it provides positivity, but we all have to endure reality for what it is and we can't change the world around us.

      I think what we all long for is exactly that. To live in nature and be free. To have the resources we desire readily available to us. Like an apple tree for example. To catch fish to eat. To go hunting. To grow crops to eat. All these things used to be free. In this society, however, we can have all these things sure, but we have to work for it. We have to work these jobs that we don't like so we can obtain these resources like food and water even. Whereas all of these things used to be readily available to humans in nature. It's a messed up system. Government 'owns' all resources and requires we work for it. It shouldn't be that way.

    For me: I had to reinstate the fact that nothing is in my control. I only control how I respond to situations that are unpleasant. Since the pandemic, my life has declined socially, and that has affected me personally. Three years later, I am attempting to pull back on the reigns and live a slower paced, uncomplicated, and grounded life. Enjoying the small things that brings me peace and joy. My current job is very fast-paced, unorganized, and stress filled. Home life is routine, which becomes tedious and boring. Sleep is my fun, so I know I am dealing with some low levels of depression... yet I am working on it. Life is short, and we do not know our checkout time. I say live honestly, face adversity head on, live simply, and be your biggest support and caregiver, and you will almost want for nothing. Find pleasure in the small things and laugh often. There are enough bitter, angry, ugly spirited people out here! So, don't join the cult! Lastly, if you have a loved one(s) in your life, tell them you care, please.. We all need reassurance at some point! 💜

    I wish I knew what I wanted to do in life, I do have hobbies that I enjoy, but that cost a little $, but traveling not so much, seeing the grand canyon or going to Hawaii doesn't mean much to me, I happy just being at home, I worked 2 jobs for 20 yrs, the 2nd job was a side business a lawn service, last yr I broke my wrist & I had to quit it , & looking back I wasted all those years for a little money, man I could have tried other ways to a better career or something else, but I'm totally out of debt, owe no one except taxes & utilities & food, I'm not rich with money but rich in freedom, at this moment I'm searching for a job that pays the most without a whole lot work or less days, I've been watching a lot of your videos & they make a lot of sense! You being single does bring more freedom or choices, but I'm married so not much freedom or choices, I'm happy to a degree just need that job I was talking about!

    During the so called pandemic I noticed how free will can be taken, and how people believe what they are told. I was one of them, but gosh that woke me up big style, and since that awakening I have full on changed my life. Mandates, forced and shamed into choices did not sit right with me and it’s been the best thing to have happened to me. God has my back

    I am 65 years, ten months and 19 days as of my comments. I appreciate the breathing abilities God gave me. When one of my nostrils is stopped up, I pause and slow down and think how wonderful to still have breathing abilities. Midlife crisis is not something I ever had to concern myself with. The many experiences I have encountered allowed me to be thankful for. Singing, dancing, laughing, loving, smiling are some of my gifts from God. Having the ability to think outside the box made me who I am these days and times. Having 10 siblings and each of them doing what they chose, allowed me to do what I thought of doing. Not following any set of ways and choosing my own ways from the free will God gave me, gave me strength, determination, patience, confidence. The rat race is what I have always avoided. Why? Because I never put the energy in trying to even go to a finish line. While that might seem to be lazy, that attitude and mindset allowed me to take my time and enjoy life that much more. Having lots of material things and not taking great care of them is most definitely a waste of life, time. Taking great care of myself keeping it seriously simple aka KISS made my life worth living. What good is having anything if a person does not care to properly take care of it? What good is a huge house if a person dos not have the time to clean it? What good is a house if a person does not know what to do in it? Looking back on my six plus decades on this earth, I am grateful to be able to wake up thinking and knowing I am still alive. Money? What good is it if it is not utilized for the wellbeing of self? Too much money, too much material things most definitely creates misery. Ask yourself, are you happy with yourself without money or material things? If not, then having those things will not make you happy. Happiness comes from within. External things comes and goes and does not last forever. Even happiness does not last forever. Happiness comes and goes. Having a sense of balance makes all the difference. Being happy with and without reduces misery. Thanks for reading my comments. As long as I have breathing abilities, I look forward to appreciating everything, everyone God created. Smiles

    This is pretty much the only life lesson people really need. Life is as simple as it gets. But the world is loud. So loud in fact that people can’t even hear themselves. So we become victims of ourselves and live in constant action, and reaction. We need to slow down and listen a little harder.

    The main thing people are repetedly told to do is…buying something. Radio, television, internet and so on is geared to tell you to buy something if you wNt to be happy. That’s it, that’s the problem, that’s the race.

    You singing my tune my friend. I’m struggling with a lot of what you speak. Am I happy? Mostly…but I’ve spent most of my adult life revolving my worth around work and providing for my family. Is that important, absolutely…but I am realizing more and more that life is about living. So I am putting less emphasis on my work and more on enjoying time with my family and being present.

    Its unfortunate that most people have that epiphany late in life, usually 40+ after a lot of heartache and pain in our early years grinding away at things that have very little meaning to us, and most will consider it to late to change now, so back they go into the rat race

    For the past several years I have been setting my life up to do the thing I really love, earn money from it, surround myself with like-minded people, and have something to leave for anyone who comes behind me (so that hopefully they can have an opportunity to live life on their own terms from an earlier age and avoid this trap you're talking about). I have had to remove some folks from my life in order to get to this point, but sometimes that's just what you have to do to live the life you need and want to live for yourself.
    Just one word of advice to any younger folks watching. Give yourself a certain amount of time to live and be alone. It can be incredibly difficult to figure out who you are, who you want to be, and how you want to live when there is always someone else's voice chiming in, or someone else's ideas and opinions you're basing your life around. It really is in the silence of solitude that we have a chance to hear OURSELVES and what we want and need. You don't have to do it for years if you don't want to, but give it at least a year. Invest a year completely in yourself to learn who you are when no one else is paying the bills or pulling the strings. You learn a lot about your strengths and weaknesses, preferences, and what you bring to the table this way.

    I think that parents need to be more honest about the hardships and difficulties that they face, because the next generation is growing up, thinking that being a parent is like a sitcom. What they think they are going to get and what they actually get is very different sometimes.
