In this DCS World Simulator video I'm in the SU35 Flanker fighting against the Eurofighter Typhoon flown by TriX (Thanks for the help buddy).

I love playing simulators, I started with Arma 3 and then I saw DCS World. I also enjoy War Thunder , Battlefield , Ghost recon, Squad , Rome total war, Microsoft Flight Simulator and more. I also enjoy World War II games including il-2 In DCS World i found all the jets that i wanted to fly in a simulator the F 16 Viper , FA 18 Hornet , F 15 Eagle , A 10 Warthawg , SU 27 , Mig 29 , P 51 , Spitfire , AH 64 Apeche , Heuy and more... And if you will download MODs the options are endless: F 22 Raptor, SU 57 , A 4 Skyhawk , SR 71 Blackbird , Rafale, Gripen and the list goes on.

Push him defensive while not wasting your stores until you get close enough for a HPK.
The problem is, the RWR would not take the bait. It knows the difference.

It sounds like a good idea to freak him out. Now that you mention it, perhaps some "missiles" that would show up on enemy radar as the aircraft itself might also be a good idea.
Good video, why didn't you show the R77M taking out the AWACS though? That was the mission!
Too late or it got too far into friendly airspace.

I'd love to see a more realistic BVR fight rather than hiding between mountains all the time. The 2 v many you run with GS are fun to watch. Maybe try them on his live server?
U tottally wrong and u even doesnt know what air combat means..whatever as jet’s pilot or chopper’s pilot in real life they use terrain as much as possible to be cancelled onto the enemy’s radar or to dogde incoming missiles ...if you are gamer go to watch ace combat....DCS is a sim....its not Mario bros or candy crash.
@@jamilayahyaoui101 Son, you don't know what (or who) you're talking about. I can guarantee you that in real life A-A pilots aren't training to fly at 100' or less behind mountain ridges. Some low-level tactics? Yes. But not like this. So go ahead and put your toy blocks back in your pram and maybe learn a bit more before you try to trash talk someone who knows a lot more than you do about air combat.🤣
I think the missile spoof idea might be problematic. It would have to be a powerful transmitter to fool the RWR that something is coming at it and you would be lit up to every other radar within 400nm.
So AWACS should do that, or ground radars

Cool video, Longshot. If I may, I see most videos like this (not all yours) when both opposing forces are punching bags and are basically in full blower the entire fight. In real life, that might mean walking home out of gas even if you survive the fight.. Maybe you could post a BVR fight when fuel is a consideration?
Can you fly a series of F-35 against different jets? Especially 1 F-35 vs multiple jets (flown by real people not AI) since that's the claim they make about F-35?
@@OscarZheng50 Can't recall the name of the article; it was a while ago. The article claimed F-35 had the ratio of 17 to 1 kill.
2:51 my guess is one of the reasons the F-35 has an IR based MWS in the DAS is to account for that potentially being an issue in the future

The Su-35 is such a beautiful aircraft! The lines are so aggressive yet graceful at the same time. A masterpiece of design imho.

The SU-35 is the most beautiful 4th generation fighter...have to specify because the SU-57 is the sexiest thing in the air.
Im curious in this video, was the amraam fired the same time as the r-37m? The capabilities should be quite different...i think at least.
I think it has got to do somethign with both the innacuracy of the Su-35 mode and the missile''s launching parameters in the game.

2:52 Think you would have to actually have a weapon that does fire something at the enemy vehicle because the electronics will pick up something moving toward the enemy's jet at a specific time or distance. So just locking onto an enemy means nothing until the RWR lets you know your radar is being picked up but actually lets them know an entity is on its way to your location of course naturally and you hear the beeps getting louder/faster or even MAWS lets them know when it gets closer. But I do understand what you mean and believe if you thought of it then it has already been thought of and most likely would have been manufactured by now. So for example a submarine sends out decoy devices that trick the enemy submarine into thinking they are closer or to trick a electronic system. But I got ya 😉

I reckon the equipment required for the short-wave radar pulsing used by actual missiles is so expensive, by the time you've implemented it in a "bogus" missile, you might as well just launch a real missile.
Still, I'll bet there's a way for an aircraft's radar to emulate a pulse that replicates the blue shifting of a short wave to make it appear as though an active missile is getting closer. It may not have much effect, as the spoof would be discovered after a few seconds; however, it could be at least enough to trick a pilot into an instinctive reaction. May not be much, but it may get him to turn for a bit, or to drop altitude, or make some other, panicked mistake.
Su35's side facing radar is supposedly able to maintain a lock while up to 120° off the centerline, enabling F-pole maneuvering while maintaining lock.
But I noticed in DCS, it can't do that. Am I missing something?
Just an innacurate mode... Irbis is a beast IRL both mechanically (azimuth and elevation-wise) and technically/electrically despite being a PESA. Just imagine something with a 20kW peak power locking you.

Well, Russia does operate hypersonic capable missiles such as R-37 , the Kinzhal and Iskander ballistic missiles. Imagine if Russia is not corrupt, their R&D and military would be funded properly. The losses we see in Ukraine roots to corruption.

why did the guy in the Typhoon only use these weak shitty missiles instead of the Meteor from germany? The Meteor is the most powerful and effectiv longrange missile in the world at the moment with an range of over 200km (125 miles)! This fight could be over in 8 minutes if he had used the Meteor!
Because the dogfight is for fun - both modules are also mods so they only vaguely represent the capabilities of the aircraft.

They need to add an update to the SU-35. They don’t have the realistic cell phone duct taped to the dash for GPS.
Russian planes are just propaganda. In fact, comparing Eurofighter with the most modern russian plane is like compare a the most modern Lada engine with a BMW or VW engine ten years ago.
Russian technology is very poor comparing with western tech
