Everyone here knows that not only can you master a maneuver like that within a fairly short period of time, but that you can also likely put yourself in a position within 4 or 5 rounds to execute it more than once.. effectively.

These mods use older flight models that were made back in LOMAC/Flamming cliffs days (almost 20 years ago), they simply take them and tweak them. These older flight models were prone to over rudder-ing which usually resulted in them entering in a flat spin or like a stall situation.
Ever since I found your channel I can't stop watching. It's just so interesting to see what dogfighting and long range combat might look like in a real senario. Especially when the Typhoon splashes an F-22 with a missle Ina flat spin. So cool!
I am so hyped for the Eurofighter Module! Will be the first plane I really want to learn in depth, until now I'm just playing around with the FC3 stuff (although I own a Hornet) due to lack of time

You can watch anything related to the F-35 and the first thing they mention is, it wasn't made for agility. And the first thing they say is if that getting caught in a dogfight means you didn't use it well
I feel like the damage model on the 27mm mauser really needs some rework - I can't imagine a gun above 20mm caliber with modern explosives doing barely any damage on a clean hit

That last kill was kind of interesting. He fired the missile at the extreme slew range of the seeker. The angle of missile apprach made the enemy aircraft the first thing to lock onto, rather than decoys.
Something I've been wondering for a while-- how effective do you think it would be to mount guns on a gimbal (atleast vertically)? Not only could you angle it to be more accurate when shooting, but it could also angle down like the jf17 (iirc) for air to ground, without sacrificing air to air performance.
Been thinking the same thing, but with added computer guidance like those on the Phalanx. Personally I've always wanted omnidirectional Lasers(or guns)for shooting down missiles and other aircraft.
not done because guns are big and heavy-look at the F35B or F4 gun pods. It’s why people have wanted to remove guns and go missile-only in the first place, and it would be near impossible to build a gimble that actuates it precisely, handles the recoil, and isn’t oversize/overweight. Also there are not many rounds in the gun in the first place to be useful for anti-ground or anything. Omnidirectional laser though is a huge talking point for NGAD

Considering that in Red Flag a Eurofighter was able to beat an F22 shows just how capable it can be. If a 5th gen aircraft's stealth is compromised, the Eurofighter had a decent shot at winning.

Incredible gaming GS. Why don't you try the Gripen Vs Su-57 Felon dogfight? I think it has been described before that the Gripen also has high rates of turns as the F-16 and two other 5th Gen fighters. I thought it'll be interesting to have maneuverable dogfights between the two jets to compare their tech and maneuvers. I've seen only one video where the Gripen did a slow cobra in the airshow as well, so I suggest you to test these two planes to a dogfight scenario. Hopefully, the maneuvers from 5:40 will happen again, hahaha.
It’s actually really nice for once to see such an adversary to the SU57 prolong the fight, the Typhoon done really well to control or neutralise the fight there. A couple of unlucky misjudgements but nonetheless a very strong demonstration of the Typhoon against more modern competitors
Very good fights, tho i have to say in some situations using the EF-2000's rudder would've helped you more than the Dif. Thrust. It sure is fancy and sometimes helpfull but i feel like in such a close combat it's just not direct enough... it needs a lot of time to counter it again if you overdo it but still props to you tackeling on the Felon and Bane you both did a great job
Great flying as always! I was wishing for more Eurofighter content lately. Really love that jet! 😁 👌🏼 Regarding super maneuverability... Friend of mine is a real life Eurofighter pilot and I had a brief chat about that with him recently. It's quite rare that the maneuvers are useful cause basically it's not about dogfighting anymore and if you're pressed to use it then it can get from good to worse in no time if you're misjudging or not maintaining sufficient energy and so on. So what I took away is that it's more useful for show purpose than for real life fighting. But don't roast me. I'm as much of a Sukhoi fan as I am a Eurofighter fan 😅
The estimated cross section is from a few things. The size is pretty easy to tell, along with the shape. Photos show that the gaps in the panels are quite large and the rivets are not covered. Also, the paint/covering does not appear to be stealth or at least not very stealthy at all. These things give analysts a pretty good idea of its cross section.
These analysts aren't: 1: going to just publish their findings on Twitter or UA-cam 2: give the actual numbers they came up with if they decide to publish them

This Su-57 looks so comfortable flying at low speed. Makes sense when you look at it's wing shape. Super scary to take on at the deck.
