Totally agree. I like what these guys do, on principle, but there also isn't a need to be belligerent towards the woman making the call. This was EXACTLY how it should work. Whether the woman is right or wrong, citizens have a right to make a call about "concerning" behavior. The police checked it out, as they should, and Ricardo, an awesome cop, saw nothing concerning. End of story. You can be an auditor without being an asshole. Just a thought.

So bank robbers can tie up the system and set up 100 calls into 911 telling them that they see people filming at 100 different spots around the city, all the police must be required to go to those spots, then the bank robbers rob a bank and easily get away with it! Good job! :) No, they're not required to go to every call. If they are, that's a garbage system they have set up. The dispatch should ask for more details from the person calling 911 and see if it's an actual emergency, like someone being attacked, or some thug breaking into a car, house, etc. If the person calling 911 says "They're just filming on the sidewalk" then dispatch should say "Ma'am, that's a Constitutionally protected act. Please do not dial 911 and waste our time on such a thing or you'll be held accountable for this in the future. Thank you." Simple, but no, the thugs with badges know this about people filming is legal, they just don't care about rights or true law enforcement. They care about puffing their chests out and ballooning their ego in thinking they can power over us "lowly" citizens as they usually get away with doing with citizens who do not have backbone, do not know their rights, or are not filming to hold these thugs with badges accountable.

WRONG. Police are PUBLIC SERVANTS. They are REQUIRED to give their name and badge number. Citizens ARE NOT required to identify UNLESS they are detained or arrested for an actual crime. LEARN THE LAW.
If no one says they are doing anything wrong, why do they respond to a call like that? They should ask the caller what they think the people are doing wrong and if they can't tell or see anything they think looks wrong, the police should say, "This is not a valid 911 call. Please use 911 for emergencies only please."

The officer tried to explain, they got a call, regardless of the reason, it’s their job to answer that call and provide that service. Not to play quality control over the phone with the caller but to provide that service to that citizen. They would do the same for you. All you did here was provoke and disrespect the officer. Saying things like “kick rocks” “You’re going to leave before us.” Is completely uncalled for and ignorant. Practice your rights, that’s awesome. Do it in a manner that educates your viewers in the right way and not just to stroke your egos.

No they don't, they told me NO...I have a friend that due to the location next to an Alley the FPD stopped responding to the home. I did a little surveyor business on one City block in my neighborhood & they said the COPS don't come... Unless there are Shots Fired or a Robbery.
The only thing I would say is to be respectful rather then being rude towards the officers. Yes I get it that it’s not a crime to film but we as people should still show respect towards law enforcement. Telling them you’re dismissed and you can leave is just rude and disrespectful, both of you guys are creating more problems and creating more of a confrontation then the cops are. I would think that people can do these audits with respect, to be straight up honest you guys actually looked worse then the cops did, they were acting very professional even though you guys were verbally abusing them. To me there is just no reason to be disrespectful towards anyone like that. You show up to your audit and you do your thing there’s no reason to Leakey all those disrespectful comments. In most cases if you treat the cops with respect and dignity they will return the favor. In this case all you guys had to do is say we are here filming for personal use and sorry but we would like to not answer any questions. Cops are people and still should be treated with respect and dignity as not all cops are bad cops. The bottom line is there is no reason for disrespectful behavior, when doing these audits you should be showing people that you guys are the bigger people and are doing the right thing and showing it’s not against the law. The only thing I got out of this video is that both of you are rude and disrespectful people which for these audits isn’t good. To bring awareness to this it should be done in a respectful manner with the highest dignity being shown throughout the entire video. Of course this is just my opinion. I’ve had some bad experiences with officers but I still gave the officers respectful and acted in a respectful way so at the end of the day even if the officer is the person that’s acting crazy or disrespectful etc you are the bigger person. That goes a long ways specially if something had to go to court and the jurors are watching you disrespect these people like this they may not want to rule in your favor just because of that. That cop was actually nice and it looked like you were trying to trigger him. He remained calm and professional. And no matter how ridiculous the call, they have to respond. What matters is HOW they respond. And he responded appropriately. He said you're doing nothing wrong and that he would educate the caller and you guys kept poking at him. You need to realize when you're dealing with a professional cop and handle the situation accordingly.

No, they're not required to go to every call. If they are, that's a garbage system they have set up. The dispatch should ask for more details from the person calling 911 and see if it's an actual emergency, like someone being attacked, or some thug breaking into a car, house, etc. If the person calling 911 says "They're just filming on the sidewalk" then dispatch should say "Ma'am, that's a Constitutionally protected act. Please do not dial 911 and waste our time on such a thing or you'll be held accountable for this in the future. Thank you."
Simple, but no, the thugs with badges know this about people filming is legal, they just don't care about rights or true law enforcement. They should ask the caller what they think the people are doing wrong and if they can't tell or see anything they think looks wrong, the police should say, "This is not a valid 911 call. Please use 911 for emergencies only please."

The officer tried to explain, they got a call, regardless of the reason, it’s their job to answer that call and provide that service. Not to play quality control over the phone with the caller but to provide that service to that citizen. They would do the same for you. All you did here was provoke and disrespect the officer. Saying things like “kick rocks” “You’re going to leave before us.” Is completely uncalled for and ignorant. Practice your rights, that’s awesome. Do it in a manner that educates your viewers in the right way and not just to stroke your egos.

No they don't, they told me NO...I have a friend that due to the location next to an Alley the FPD stopped responding to the home. I did a little surveyor business on one City block in my neighborhood & they said the COPS don't come... Unless there are Shots Fired or a Robbery.

The only thing I would say is to be respectful rather then being rude towards the officers. Yes I get it that it’s not a crime to film but we as people should still show respect towards law enforcement. Telling them you’re dismissed and you can leave is just rude and disrespectful, both of you guys are creating more problems and creating more of a confrontation then the cops are. I would think that people can do these audits with respect, to be straight up honest you guys actually looked worse then the cops did, they were acting very professional even though you guys were verbally abusing them. To me there is just no reason to be disrespectful towards anyone like that. You show up to your audit and you do your thing there’s no reason to Leakey all those disrespectful comments. In most cases if you treat the cops with respect and dignity they will return the favor. In this case all you guys had to do is say we are here filming for personal use and sorry but we would like to not answer any questions. Cops are people and still should be treated with respect and dignity as not all cops are bad cops. The bottom line is there is no reason for disrespectful behavior, when doing these audits you should be showing people that you guys are the bigger people and are doing the right thing and showing it’s not against the law. The only thing I got out of this video is that both of you are rude and disrespectful people which for these audits isn’t good. To bring awareness to this it should be done in a respectful manner with the highest dignity being shown throughout the entire video. Of course this is just my opinion. I’ve had some bad experiences with officers but I still gave the officers respectful and acted in a respectful way so at the end of the day even if the officer is the person that’s acting crazy or disrespectful etc you are the bigger person. That goes a long ways specially if something had to go to court and the jurors are watching you disrespect these people like this they may not want to rule in your favor just because of that.
