Jae- very very very versatile. I rather work with one of my daughters who have 4b-4c then my other daughter who is 4a/3c. My daughter with 4a/3c it curls up every time I put water, gel whatever in is soooo annoying that when she was younger I cut it short and brushed it straight.; she can't wear styles other than wash in go or cornrows.

There are way too many ‘stylists’ who make ppl feel like there is something wrong with courser hair when in reality they just haven’t learned how to do it properly/ prefer not to do certain textures...it’s wrong.

    • @happiijuice5626

T G it’s not necessarily more labor though. Texture differences are not parallel to labor. It’s a matter of skill and time management. Also adding an extra fee based on hair type is another form of colorism and division in the black community. But do carry on.

Thank you for the 4c comment. YOU SAID WHAT YOU SAID AND ITS TRUE. Im here watching because no-one in my city will work on my hair without charging a extra fee or requiring I straighten/damage my hair. Learning for myself. Thank you for all that you do for us nappy headed girlies.

God blessed you with hands of gold. I practiced so many times trying to do box braids and knotless braids, but I don’t have the best grip. I was hoping to make money this summer, I only really got serious about practicing this month. One day I hope I get to your level 👏🏽👏🏽

You do some amazingly beautiful work. As a fellow hairstylist I have always been so fascinated and amazed at the gorgeous hairstyles that have come from African culture. I wish it was appropriate for me to wear them as well, so for now I'll continue watching the beautiful work you do!

    • @haircuttincasey

Q@@delilahsjar4292 I've read many times that it is appropriation and the last thing I want to do is disrespect anyone's culture.

@@haircuttincasey it's not disrespectful at all. Some people are just real sensitive about the smallest things. You should try it, if that's what you really want to do.

@@delilahsjar4292 Thank you for your kindness! That means a lot. I just try to be sensitive to how others feel.

Thank you!! I have short 4c hair and people act like it’s too difficult not because of the length but texture. I also have scalp issues (like bald spots and bumps) that I’m really sensitive about and it hurts when people judge me on it. It got so bad to the point that I haven’t gotten my hair professionally done in 2 years. I’m only 19 so it hurts

I’d hook you up with some braids (not these lol, I’m still trying to learn) if you were near VA. Don’t feel bad. It’s easier for some people to be nasty because they don’t have enough grace for anything else.
