This is by no means EASY for elderly people like myself. Very discouraging, in fact, being that in the title, "Easy Method"... That said, thank you for your post to help others.
My Lord and my God, I firmly believe that You are here, that you see me, that You hear me. I adore You with profound reverence. I beg Your pardon for my sins and the grace to make this time of prayer fruitfully. My Immaculate Mother; St. Joseph, my father and lord; my guardian angel, intercede for me.
I was just confirmed at the Easter Vigil and I want to learn to be proficient in meditative, contemplative and mental prayer. It’s so intimidating but I’m trying.
I just go with jesus through his life from beginning till end and comment his life and build everything into it what ever I wanted to tell him .could be some problems or just a Thanksgiving or a sry however or whatever my heart wants to tell him .after a while it just flows and jesus is present ❤
I must remove myself first from all distractions and yes we all do sin repeatedly but I asked my angel to make me halt and think before I commit those repeated venial sins.
It is ccalled: Christus Vincit, Christus Regnat But I don't know who was the man actually singing at beginning, you can try different versions and maybe you'll find him haha
Actually, I have myself just searched for it and I found a close , If not, the version of it and it is by Schola bamberg, werner pees, anonymous. If you have Spotify you'll find it there

To say I’ll never sin again isn’t realistic because we sin all the time because of our fallen nature! It’s help me Jesus through Mary to serve you to the best of my ability which is itself a grace! Please watch the warning or illumination of conscience by Christine Watkins. The Papacy can NOT be destroyed. Don’t call protestant’s Christian! (because there’s ONLY ONE CHURCH). Following padre Pio - who show’s the true beauty of Catholicism which is everyone’s true home! Always ask your guardian angel to help you and to communicate with your family’s guardian angel’s. Praise Jesus and Mary always!!!
Do you feel great as an infiltrator? Maybe you don't feel that way, but mixing brave and true Catholic statements with poisoned New Age fantasies like the book "The Warning" by Christine Watkins and her "illumination of conscience" (nowhere in 2,000 years of Catholic Teaching) is what typical infiltartors, saboteurs and coruptors do. Beware and get off the New Age hyper-exciting, hyper-false drug!!
When he says “I will never sin again” he means it to keep it in mind so we dont sin frivolously. It really starts with prayer. And to say so is to keep it in awareness that we will make an effort not to.
He said ask for the grace not to sin. And as to the papacy: the papacy is an institution in principle, not a pope claimant. The papacy itself is a set of teachings and the recognition by you that if a true pope is present, you submit. The papacy cannot fail, but antipopes can falsely reign.
@faithintotheeternal8195 Prayer and any other practices to avoid sin become useless when you mix them with the sins of New Age in the book The Warning and the superstition of the illumination of consciences. Mix pure water with poison and what do you get? Poisoned water!
Nothing’s wrong with the volume friend it’s your phone that’s at fault. God bless. Please watch the warning or illumination of conscience by Christine Watkins. Then Following Padre Pio.

Hi, as the speaker said it only seems complicated the beginning and when breaking it down, but once you have done it a few times it becomes second nature. Here it is roughly in short text: Get yourself in a comfortable position Make fervent acts of faith and love Express sorrow for sins Ask for the light of the Holy Spirit 3 Hail Mary's to recommend yourself to The Blessed Virgin, St Joseph and Our guardian angel Read a little - from Scripture or meditations in a book or on the eternal truths of eternity, death, final judgement, heaven, hell and of Jesus crucified. Think a little Pray - pray - pray - pray - loving him much Conclude with fervent acts of faith and love Important - pray petitions for your holiness and the holiness of all the world (conversion of sinners) Pray for the holy souls in purgatory. I hope this helps a bit.
Who are transalpine redemptorist. Are they of catholic faith. Ie nov dates for discussion on mental prayer. Is this prayer format good for people who are sick thanks for responding. God bless.
@elisamarro7356 yes they're a traditional order. Have a monastery on Papa Stronsay Island in Scotland, one in Montana USA, and a parish in Christchurch New Zealand. The online mass is a High Sung Mass from Christchurch every Sunday. I'll post the link.
@elisamarro7356 The prayer format is the one recommended by St Alphonsus Liguori. Their Paron Saint. Personally I use Fr Hamon' daily meditations. Free online download. I find them excellent. Similar format. If you're sick I'd think they'd be very helpful.
@elisamarro7356 The Transalpine Redemptorists also have a daily live stream consisting of a 30 mins talk about the Catholic Faith. The Rosary and 30mins mental prayer. It's broadcast from Papa Stronsay Island. I think 4pm Scotland time. If you're unwell you might find better for you. To just watch & listen.

@@jimh4005compared to St John Baptist de la Salle's method where we have to do nine acts for each part, it's much easier
A very nice summary. I have been doing mental prayer now for about a year and a half.

I beg Your pardon for my sins and the grace to make this time of prayer fruitfully. My Immaculate Mother; St. Joseph, my father and lord; my guardian angel, intercede for me.
Thank you 🙏
Thank you for this, Father!
The Sun emerging from the fire and smoke is VERY COOL! Nice addition.😇
The book Saint Theresa used for years was the 'Third Spiritual Alphabet' by Francisco de Osuna
Thank you for this good instruction. I think it is very pleasing to God when we perform/offer this mental prayer in such a world that distracts us.
I exist, even with all my faults. Thank you God.
I was just confirmed at the Easter Vigil and I want to learn to be proficient in meditative, contemplative and mental prayer. It’s so intimidating but I’m trying.

Thsnk you. Very inspiring.
Wonderful! Thank you!
Thank you for sharing such a solid, practical method.

How does one know if they're mental prayers are effective?
The fruits will show in your life, & spirituality.
How do u slowdown speed ofvthis video.
Is it alright to twitch in mental prayer like a slight muscle spasm or does it distract?
If you can't control it, don't worry about it.
Everything will distract at the beginning, but with time prayer will overcome even the twitching you speak of!
Why is everyone acting like mental/meditation prayer is something new?
