Thanks for this super useful video. I have a question on the sentence at 2:50, "Sa photo est bien, mais elle est mieux ...", why do we use the adverb bien here and not the adjective bonne?
Bonsoir ! :) You could say c'est une bonne photo and that sounds fine, but sa photo est bonne is less natural and we would use bonne more to refer to the TASTE of something. La pizza est bonne, mais la photo est bien, if you know what I mean.
This was a pretty good explanation. The problem I have is that "mieux" and "meilleur" often follow VERBS. Tu CHANTES mieux que moi. Ta recommandation EST meilleure que la mienne. What I have also noticed is: "mieux" is used when verbs are deployed to make a comparison; and "meilleur" is used when nouns are used to make a comparison. For example: Je dors MIEUX qu'avant grâce à l'aire frais de soire. En effet, votre présentation est bien MEILLEURE que les autres. Merci!

Would it be useful to make a class explaining or reminding what is a verb/preposition/adjective/noun/adverb etc...? would that help to clarify for this and for future lessons? I can do that if you want.
lingoni FRENCH I would say why not, because we all assume that everyone already knows what are adverbs, prepositions, adjectives etc. before they start to learn French. Sometimes I really feel like going back to Turkish grammar books(I am from Turkey) to refresh my knowledge about these topics :) I shouldn’t be the only one 🤔
