Make your bike glow with these plasma LED strips

- I saw the crew from www.getccled.com in Galveston, Texas, during the SE Bikes Island Rideout. These led plasma strips were the star of the expo and I wanted a set for our Phoenix night rides. Here's the install and some bonus footage of me wrapping white plasma strip on a Mike Buff Fast Ripper frame. If you have basic skills with wiring, you can do anything with this stuff.

Hey Isaac ...looks great! I used a spoke guard over the top black wire (rim to hub) and a clear packing tape to hold it secure. Cleaner look indeed look

Where did you get the thing in the middle of your bike? Its on the PK and it holds things.
@@sandykaufmanrealtor6810 that’s the Merritt Corner Pocket XL Frame Bag. They also make a smaller one. I use the xl bag because it holds my wallet, phone, and keys. I still use the same bag that I have here and it’s been a few years. They’re great.

Great video! My only question is, the 2 “Big” zip ties aren’t strong enough to hold the battery in place adequately? Are the spoke zips really necessary? Please advise. Thank you. 🤙🏼
It’s a light battery, but I’ve only run mine this way so can’t tell ya if it’ll hold with two. I’d assume the 3m with the side spokes would be fine 🤷♂️
Nice lights but do they have an on and off button? Can the battery come out to charge?
The battery is fixed. They came with a long charging cable to charge them. There isn’t an on/off but you could wire one if you have some basic understanding of circuits (which I do not). Great question 🤘
hey when ordered the the led strips did you ask them to link the two together for you or did you do it yourself? cause i have Schwann chopper with the 4inch back tire so ill need 2 strips for sure.
I asked for two strips soldered already. They asked which hoops I was using and made them as a package with the battery, charger, and rim strips.
Are CC LED lights adaptable/compatible w/E-bike rear-hub motors? Have been searching around, hi/lo, for LED rim lights...

did you ask for double sided wheel lights?
They asked me about my wheel size and shape and suggested it so I get both sides of the concave.
@@BigBikeBMX yeah I have 2 sets myself but I have the solo strip on both bikes and wasn’t asked anything but I did provide the size. some people get 2 dif colors on each wheel and plug into one or the other to have dif looks and some even have the multi color strobe effect (I live in houston)
Can you let me know cause I just got mine in and my strip looks like it’s tiny leds that are close together when lot and your strip looks like a constant light but may be the camera let me know thanks ! Your bike looks killer
Did you get yours from getccled? Theirs don’t have “dots” and look more like glowing ropes.

How will this work attaching too an E-bike hub that which is much larger in diameter than a regular bikes hub is??
I don’t own an e-bike, but if you know the hub size, I’m sure getccled coukd 3D print the battery housing to fit.

I thought it would but I don’t feel anything with it being so close to the hub rotation
What's the battery life like? I'm thinking of getting some for my burning man bike. I want to make sure they'll last for through the night
Four to five hours and they’re still bright is my experience
