I had some small veins on my chin that I just couldn’t seem to cover, they’re almost gone now! My redness is mostly gone. My skin loves this foundation! I’m use Dawn 2w1, and love it. Surprisingly it is lighter than 1w2.
I trust Mel the most when it comes to product reviews so I knew if I were going to get this one it would be after I heard your thoughts! Definitely picking it up since the Double Wear is my absolute favorite ❤️

This looks so flawless. I plan on picking up a sample. I can’t believe it looks so good after a workout! I work at home and like quick makeup on the daily so this could be a good option!
It looked so good the other day (when you were doing the wear test). Looking great in this video. EL Doublewear Fresh foundation has SPF, that doesn't bother my dry/sensitive skin. Still mad they changed the Doublewear light version. That was one of my faves. Thank-you for the wear test/demo. ❤🐞

I’m excited to try this because I love the finish of double wear, but it looks so caked up on my dry skin, and sinks into my pores and smile lines. Then double wear light doesn’t have my shade. Thanks for the review Mel.

Just got it today. I waited all day to do my makeup because I knew it was coming. So far, I like it. I have a pretty significant dry patch on my forehead (grrr winter) and it smoothed right over it, no clinging whatsoever.
I work at a Sephora, so i have my fingers crossed we get this in gratis! Also, we are foundation twins, like every winter foundation shade you have is the same as mine in the winter, and same in the summer! So helpful!
Before I order make up, I always make sure it’s Mel approved 😂

We have the same skin tone, as well as pretty clear, yet uneven skin, so this is so helpful as finding a good foundation with the right shade is a nightmare. I watched your video on the new Chanel one first, and when you said this was still your favorite, I checked this out. Well, I can see why. You look like a porcelain doll with this stuff. I’m sold! I love this foundation its a perfect go to for daily wear for me. I love that it has spf and it's just beautiful! I got 2n1 I guessed that's what you got we always have same shades. It goes on light but it gets darker on me when it dries down.

I love Estée Lauder. I have dry skin but I moisturize before the double wear and I love it. It’s the only brand that doesn’t make me breakout or have an allergic reaction. This is a must have foundation for me. Glad it’s also sold at Macy’s.

Good review, Mel. I am curious to compare with my EL Perfectionist Serum Makeup. I suspect it will replace Perfectionist. I enjoy a medium coverage, radiant finish that lasts and won't melt off.

I'm definetly intrigued, but I will have to wait until it comes to Mexico or I can travel to the US because Whenever I have ordered foundation online sight unseen, I have made color mistakes, so now I only buy a new foundation in person to shade match. Packaging reminds me of the It Cosmetics CC cream.

Hi Mel, if smone wants to bump up the coverage on this it could be mixed with the ELDW full coverage foundation (just a drop) if someone has hyperpigmentation or acne spots, etc... It sounds like a great mixing foundation. Also, it sounds like a real winner for spring/summer this year. I'll be giving it a try for sure. 💜💜

Your skin looks beautiful, Mel! Absolutely flawless! I wonder if Estee Lauder is test marketing this foundation with Sephora? They used to sell their Nutritious line exclusively through Nordstrom! I love Estee Lauder! I've been using their skincare products for decades! I've been using the Re-Nutriv line, including their radiant foundation, which has nice hydration! I wear 3C2 Pebble, which is perfect on my untanned skin(4C3 Soft Tan if I get tan), but at 58 years of age, I definitely need the hydration! This would be a much less expensive alternative!

Looks beautiful. I am impressed with how long it lasts. I have combo, sensitive skin. I would like to try it, but afraid I would be really shiny in the T zone, especially in the summer.

Thank you for the review, you look flawless. I am a hard color to match. I'm blond with hazel green eyes and med-med deep skin tone. Currently I use Clinique moisture surge cc Medium deep. I love it, but it's not full coverage and spf 30.I have 2 samples of the Estee Lauder, so I'll give it a try. Thanks for your review
Being combo, I love this foundation so much! It wears so beautifully throughout the day. I'm impressed. Hopefully the spf doesn't break me out either. I bought the shade ecru and it's perfect. I like it better than the fenty hydrating foundation color wise and formula wise too. 😊

Holy crap...I was just looking for a review on this foundation and you popped right up with what I needed!! Thanks...but also kinda crazy with the timing:) It hasn't launched yet, so that's probably why it's not on the Estee Lauder site. Sephora and Ulta have it coming out online on the 11th, I think.

It's available at Macy's. Same thing happened when EL launched the reformulated Double Wear Soft Matte, all the retailers had it but they didn't........
