Thanks for showing us the inside of the Reykjavik! Actually the battery isn't that small - it's 19Wh which means slightly more than 5000mAh, probably two 2600mAh 18650 Li-ion cells from the look of the video.
robmbc Yeah, that's too bad. Great little speaker. Nobody believes that it makes so much sound for its size and on top of that the audio clarity is mint af imo.
Hallo Toni. Ich interessiere mich für den R. als Alltagsbegleiter. Wie macht er sich heutzutage? Ist es besser als ein A1 oder Revolve oder Charge 3. Wie war die Akkulaufzeit, Langzeiterfahrung? Würdest du den Helsinki bevorzugen? Ale Alltags-Schlepper zu gross oder geht das noch?
@@MrDrapski Vifa is making speaker drivers in Denmark, and there are many other Danish companies well known for this. It is not a bad assumption to expect at least some key parts to be made in Denmsrk, maybe even the whole speaker given its price
@@henriki8015 Ok, got your point. Price was really high at the launch, but sound also is "high-end" :) If you still doubt about any old Vifa speakers, I just bought brand new Oslo for small price and it blew my mind with sound quality (through aux cable OFC, not BT), so be quick as you can still buy some new, boxed speakers from old stock. Vifa does not exist anymore so when it's gone, it's gone. Even if that new chinese company will release any new speakers, it won't be same thing as those designed by Denmark Vifa engineers.
Thanks for letting me know that. I bought the new minirig mini and am looking forward to trying that out. Portable and pocketable. Some people were saying with the new update, the Reykjavik was still not where they thought it should be so I decided to wait until they “perfect” the sound. I really love Vifa and their signature sound especially in the late night mode. I currently have the Oslo, which is my favorite speaker.
Fkin dejavu. I dreamt last night u made a vid of disassembling the reykjavic and doing a bass test HAHAH. Somehow the bass was better than the phantom in my dream and u said that the bass frm the phantom sounded like it came from the tweeter😂
Julian Steinhoefer That’s unfortunate. I have one that has a rattle that has increased over the last couple years. I wanted to open it up to see if there was a loose screw/panel.
What disassembly ??? Where ? Not even disconnecting a speaker cable , checking the battery , chips on the board , caps , materials used... DISLIKE time wasted. Learn smth from AvE. Lots of irrelevant information and no information about the internal components. Sorry man.
when music is playing you can hear the motor making a sort of scratching noise, I'm afraid to say it but you have your head in the wrong place, there is a reason why we don’t see company’s such as Audi using vifa is because they aren’t as good as competitors such as Harman Kardon or even Bose
TigerTechnology you say Bose is better than Vifa? Where the hell did you get this from? The reason they use Bose speakers in cars is that they are specified for small drivers. Sadly this also shows in sound as most Bose car systems sound like trash. I would rather take my JBL Flip 3 in the car that listening to that stuff. Better question: did you ever ask yourself why no audiophile company uses Bose drivers in their speakers or why there is no Bose speaker standing in a hifi lovers room? The reason why the driver makes distortion noises is that it doesn’t have the air pressure from the housing anymore and moves more than it should now. That can lead to distortion. And unlike Bose speakers Vifa drivers only distort without the housing and not all the time... Btw, I don’t have my head up Vifas arse. If you watched my unboxing of the Vifa Reykjavik you know that I’am not the biggest fan of their acting.
Quick warning: do not open up the speaker/take it apart when you want to keep your warranty at Vifa as disassembling it will void it!
how does it compare to b&o A1 sound and battery.
Kannst mal close ups machen von Chips
does it sound better without that dome top?
trilingualkid I think there is a slight improvement when it comes to treble performance but it’s not significant
Always like these disassemble videos. And nice intro!

Because of your videos i bought one for 79€👍
And I will probably buy vifa city...
👍👏👍
I love those kind of videos.
Saw this on my feed and was like "Ooooooo, hell yeah!" I love these kinds of vids! When will you do a beoplay p2 teardown?
Mike Feur I probably won’t do it because it’s quite hard to get open
Mike Feur yea I have a P2 and I tried to open but it's super hard without breaking it.
Speaker Toni ah, I see. We'll, would've been cool to see the inside of it as well. Thanks Toni.
robmbc Yeah, that's too bad. Great little speaker. Nobody believes that it makes so much sound for its size and on top of that the audio clarity is mint af imo.
Mike Feur it's true. I love mine. To play classical music and jazz it sounds amazing. Other stuff sounds good too.

How does it compare to the B&O A1
didnt expect a driver that big
Got a Copenhagen disassembly ?
How is the battery life is it better than the be I play a1?
Deante Ferguson a little bit better
Nicee 😁

Looks better than the cheap build A1.

Hi tony, can you do disassembly for the doss soundbox xl as its woofer can play really low bass. Thanks Btw nice video man. Keep it up
Vifa oslo Disassembly please
Die Tweeter sehen doch ähnlich aus wie die von der Onyx Studio nur kleiner oder?
Ecktrix ja, und sie haben ein kleines Loch in der Mitte, es sind also nicht die gleichen
realy want to see the full teardown of vifa helsinki and above all the devialet phantom.
Is this speaker Made in China?
It is, just like all the other Vifa speakers: Guoguang Electric Co.,Ltd, Made in China
What speakers are not made in China nowadayz?? XD

Yum! Still looks like Sid the sloth though lol
Alexandru Simonescu True haha
What was the first bass test song?
soundcloud.com/raz1/dbz-final-sc
Lit intro
zrq thanks:)
I guess no more new update news other than the last bass increase, mids mess up?
Last time they increased bass and slightly took away treble and mids but it still sounds great
Thanks for letting me know that. I bought the new minirig mini and am looking forward to trying that out. Portable and pocketable.

Hahahahaha
Speaker Toni idk man. Even in my dream the amp looks like one in the vid. Just that the main driver looks like the one in my go play
first like
Sometimes it looks like the driver could handle a little bit more power
First
Now Vifa Oslo please :)
Hi, Alton Zasx I think that doesn't work. You have to break the Oslo to get it open...

When that was on free air my ears hurt, that motor noise proves Vifa drivers aren’t that great
TigerTechnology what motor noise?
Vifa drivers are one of the best you can buy haha.

Speaker Toni did you just say you’d rather listen to two tiny jbl speakers than a full audio system?
Jayden Thompson yep, because I don’t need echoing bass, unrefined treble and no mids in my car.
I rather stick with two small speakers instead.
