From an old man. I STRONGLY suggest that anytime you have a 2-cycle engine, ALWAYS mix the fuel at 32:1 ratio. This 50:1, no way I would do that because the only lubrication the engine gets is the oil you put in with the gas. Ask a local mower shop about what I just said. 32:1. I have an Echo leaf blower my late brother purchased back in the 1980s. Always 32:1 and I'm still using it now. Just trying to help. .
@@FrugalMeScott You're welcome. Had a neighbor buy a new string trimmer from Lowes. She followed directions of 50:1. She even bought the Premeassured 50:1 oil. One month after warranty engine locked up. I told her if you ever buy another one, 32:1 only. .
@@robertclary1718 it did and I should have clarified that. There’s a defect in the throttle cable where it connects to the carb and it’s on every one of them. Thanks for pointing that out!

Just purchased this today to replace the Earthquake cultivator (2stroke), died because of a scored cylinder.

I’ve already gone through 2 of these in just a matter of 2 weeks they’re are complete GARBAGE. Will never buy one again.
