As a parent of freshman I appreciate the continuing communication. While not priorities now, two small ideas to consider. First, would love to see Tulane make Walter Isaacson’s class, which I here is “sold out” semester after semester, available to all of the Tulane community. I know speak for many when I say I would be waiting for each class to learn from one of our generations greatest authors. Second idea, is challenge the rest of the wider education community to make one of their own’s most popular content available as well. In these times, I’m estimating small acts like this will go a long way in building a stronger Tulane community and hopefully help spark something that goes far beyond to a wider global community which we desperately needed before current events and more so now after the pandemic. In any case, I appreciate all the work going into pushing forward with solutions to these difficult situations.

Can you also speak to how Tulane will continue to care for their hourly staff, especially those in environmental services and dining services, to make sure they are able to care for their families and pay their necessary bills?
