Whether it is caused by depression, sleep, hypnosis, etc. I still see it as your unconscious mind invading your conscious mind or vice versa. Picture it like the water under the earth seeping up onto the dry land above, or the above ground land sinking down into the subterranean water instead. My experiences with the dark side, in the early nineties, looking back on them now, were triggered by the very stressful situation in my life back then (that, with much pain, I've learnt to accept).
