I used some really bad stuff from Home Depot, I would not recommend it at all, I get all my composites from fiberglast or composites one now and it is a night and day difference
@@traviswhite4890 it really depends on your project and how you want to fabricate it, I could do it 20 different ways and have the same outcome in the end, so just use whatever you are comfortable with
No I do not but from what I’ve looked up online it would be relatively the same process that I’ve done on this although most of the ones I saw are metal not fiberglass
@CuttinChris yes 10 x better, if you plan on doing something like this probably around 4 layers just to make sure it’s really solid that’s what I usally roll semi truck visors at and it seems to be tough enough, just make sure u don’t use the woven fiberglass like I did in this video it was a horrible idea use chopped strand material and make sure to roll out all of the air bubbles
Nice work mate

That s old school tight.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Ok, good start.

Is that fibreglass welder's sheet?
It’s just some fiberglass cloth I found, I’m remaking it right now with some 6oz fiberglass mat
@@Nathan.Gordon so you would say 6oz is a better weight for it to hold up over time?
how many layers did you do with this one?@@Nathan.Gordon

Hopefully I can get my molds done soon so I can make a video of a part that actually worked🤣🤣
The angle makes it tiring to watch
