The grave digger should have a lantern or a spade in the free hand (the spade would be useful for stability as well if he were leaning on it). How are you meant to recognise that he is a grave digger without a lantern or a spade? Stereotypes exist for a reason. Plus, the feet kicking around....difficult to see clearly at night and I think people will think he's carrying a big snake at first glance. Would have been better to have the "body" draped the other way around with the head clearly outlined. It's a very good concept/upgrade for a grave digger, just could have been executed better. Like you, I agree the sword swallower and the balancing clown are very innovative and exciting. All we need now is an updated Fortune Teller Booth and we would have a proper old school carnival set up (I'd include Monty with that as well, I love Monty, maybe one day he'll make it to the UK).

I guess that even though the Sword Sallower is not necessarily scary...it certainly is unique. I am not nuts about the balancing clown , or the scarecrow. But the fellow with the kicking abductee on his shoulder is also " different" . But again . Not Scary. If someone had the cash to blow, They may be worth the price if you knew you had an appropriate spot for them in your display.
