I think the reason Rumple helped her even though she didn’t honour her side of the bargain is because he has been in her position before they have both been separated from their children for most of their children’s lives. Rumple understands her pain better than anyone. I think in this scene we saw the man behind the beast.
I suspect that, since he also has some powers of foresight (because of the Seer), he may have been reluctant to help her because he realized that if her child was alive, she might abandon the quest of vengeance to seek her child. So he tried at first to convince her not to, both out of concern for her emotional sanity and out of concern for his plans, but gave in when she made it clear she needed to know what happened to her child, just like he had sought to find out what happened to Baelfire.
He is not evil at all he Just had a tough childhood with his father Who was nothing But a cheater he become a coward because of his father otherwise he is great
@@tadejaivanic680 thats no excuse for the way he acts. People are responsible for their own actions, they cant go around and say "I act this way because I had horrible parents".
@@emilish624 i think he is trying to change for his mistakes But he often does it in the wrong way it's admirable tho. Because we can see that he is actually trying some how mostly for baelfire and belle
@@emilish624 True point. I Just think he is deep down sorry for his mistakes. Because if he ended up dying at the end for saving hook's life that sure as hell has to mean something in season 7
