At round 15. When I do (1sc, 1dec) x8
X8 is not enough for me. I checked but there are nothing I did wrong at the last rounds. I have 32 stitch RN but doing that x8 times to 32 stitch is not enough for me.. i need more than x8, anyone knows where is the problem?
Rnd 15 is (2sc, 1dec) not (1sc, 1dec)

Hi, can i know what do you mean by r1: 8hdc, sl stch? am i supposed to make 8hdc first then pull the magic ring and make a slip stich or am i supposed to make it alternate?
Yes that's correct. First make 8 hdc in the magic ring and pull to close. Then slst in the very first hdc

when i do round 4 of the frog hat, its 2hdc and then just a normal inc right? or is it a hdc increase
(2hdc, 1inc) ----> 1hdc, 1hdc, 1inc

5ply. if you want a smaller version, use 4ply mc and 2.5mm hook
