It was so refreshing to hear this. They all have great vocals in their own right but when they sing together it's CRAZY good. I cannot wait for their album to drop. And I really need them to tour in America. We need all the authentic stellar singers we can get!

I think looks wise Sugababes 2.0 was perfection but it's quite blatant that Siobhan is the stronger vocalist. Her use of dynamics and applying a steady vibrato on her solo proves that. Haven't seen Heidi ever sing anything close to that.

Yes you are one of the FEW. You have the real talent (which left the SB's) capable of writing brilliant songs and you have the Sugafakes, who are all about looking like barbie dolls and whose songs are now so weak the last album flopped big time. The 2 sets of people are totally different
And nowhere near as good as Mutya and Keisha either. I saw them live several times close up. Believe me, Heidi has nowhere near the vocal range of Mutya or Keisha , you only had to see them perform live to see that.

agreed. mutya's voice was the heart and soul of every song (with both lineups)- she always carried the weight of the vocals whilst the likes of keisha, heidi and siobhan did their flourishes over her.
I think it depends on the instrumentation/sound of the music. On their Urban tracks (Lay Down) Keshia did the middle harmony because her voice meshes well with the Urban/R&B tracks.

M & K were writing songs together at school.In fact Mutya has said she has loads of songs on cassette tape they wrote for 'One Touch'. When M & K stopped writing together the SB's songs got weaker and weaker, eventually flopping altogether. Ans Siobhan is a GREAT songwriter, listen to her 2 albums as proof. SB's will die out (no plans). MKS now have all the songwriters back working together

I think One Touch was a success in many ways. It got them on the map and produced Top 10 singles (even higher on the continent). Its not their fault that the public generally buy crap and not good, creative music. But since then everyone now knows what they are capable of, because the songs just got better and better. I dont agree. MKS will be different because with SB1 to SB2 it was always about the music and quality of songs. Girls Aloud fans probably grew up and moved on. But with SB1 to SB2 the quality of the songs gave them a much wider fan base and credibility with people like Jools Holland. Other girl bands didnt have that credibility. Quality songwriting is not a fad. it lasts. If the songs are good, there will be no problem. They are different to others
And as you see with Girls Aloud (no hating comments now please, I really think you could compair them), they have been really succesfull, but their comeback, although they had some really nice and alot of promo slots, it kind of didn't worked out. It only charted at # 9 and didn't sold that well either. And I'm pretty sure that's what will happen to MKS if they don't release anything soon (I hope I'm getting proofed wrong though ;)!).
Yeah, the record company says when something is released, but I'm very sure they postponed it because of the Girls Aloud comeback. And even they are bonded with a major label like Polydor, I think it's not that easy. Sure their music will be great, but I guess most of the people would'nt notice that. Their first try (One Touch) wasn't really successfull either, although the music was great imo. But most people obviously didn't like it.
They have announced their comeback half a year ago, and they have been undoubtedly recording for their album since January 2012. Since then, this is the first teaser ever. So yes, I want them to hurry up - because if it takes another year without really anything, almost everybody would have forgotten about them again (well, not the really die hard fans, but who many of them are their outside? I don't think very much, though I really love them and I'm not even british...)

They had to spend a lot of time in the studio getting used to working together again, working on the harmonies again, then there is the working out the songs and the creative side. No way is MKS a 'reboot' of anything and certainly not SB 4. That is precisely why Mutya left , because she knew what SB3 was becoming (and she was right). You have 3 good songwriters together again so its totally different to SB4, that is why people are excited about it. Its unfinished business from SB1
Impossible not to compare! Seens Siobhan's voice more powerful than Heidi's... actually a I think MKS has everything 2 work (great voices, harmonies, lyrics).... Even having my concerns about Keisha, I have 2 say that she's a great singer and songwriter (something the Sugababes have lost with his departure)

The release dates for the single and album are dictated by the Record Company, not MKS. And when something is released there will be publicity and appearances on TV etc promoting it. There is no chance people will forget, especially if the music is great, as we know it will be.

I'm sorry but MKS are MUCH stronger vocally than DC ever were. The only girl group with more impressive vocals would have been En Vogue (with Dawn).

The release dates for the single and album are dictated by the Record Company, not MKS. And when something is released there will be publicity and appearances on TV etc promoting it. There is no chance people will forget, especially if the music is great, as we know it will be.
