Just sent mine of for service. Nice to see what is being done... Personally I chose to not have it polished in any way. All the dings and scratches it has are a reminder of the hundreds of dives I did with it.

where did you send it? I have one that needs new seals and a complete DCI like above....

went to an authorized dealer who said that it would be sent to Brussels, where the Omega-Swatch Group's service center they depend on is located. They will quote what needs to be done and then either do it there or send the watch to Bienne Headquarters. I reckon it is a long procedure. Will take months probably...

Cdt.Causetout hi. I also have one that hasn't been used for a long time. Still winds and operates however in need of some love. Have you had a quote yet? And which parts are they replacing? I would assume it's £500-1000 depending on parts needed. Mine needs a bezel and push button straight away. Let alone what may be lurking within. Thanks.

the quote I received was 787 Euro. for a full service. Once I'll get it back I should be able to tell what parts were replaced, since I always ask to keep old parts.

My watchmaker serviced mine but we had problems with the seal and to get the crown tight ? All the gaskets and seals are there but not tight for pressure test ?

Something isn't shown right in this video.
This is a monobloc case and it is designed to have its cristal push hard enough on the seal below to hypercompress it and make it impervious to helium atoms. The threaded ring that pushes down on the crystal thus needs to be tightened with extremely high torque. Tightening and unscrewing it requires a special tool.
All the watchmakers I ever turned to said that they simply could not open my watches case... Anyway tere's no way to do this as easily as shown here.
I guess this is left out because the watch was not tightened to factory specs in the first place...
