@@jamescornley1127 😂😂😂 I really hope not. I love teaching. Full time work, school, first baby, moving to a new state, and saving up for gear was a huge adjustment while still traveling and playing keys. But now I have a team and moved back to Vegas and have all the gear, so I hope I can keep recording on my time off.😭 I’ve learned a lot these last 5 year and excited to share!
Great lessons, basic but essential to go on and add other more advanced movements. Very important to follow these videos too. I've been playing jazz for a long time and I'm trying to learn how to play neosoul and gospel. I'm incorporating these movements into my jazz playing and I sound much better than the usual jazz chords everyone's playing. It's a great channel. I really enjoyed the more advanced movements they had in past videos. But I'm excited about these fundamental videos. Thank you!❤
Thank you for the support!! Advance videos are coming promise. Especially collabs! We are trying to expand our audience by creating videos for multiple learning levels and genres. We are also going to start videos on tone, midi, VST’s, and gear! We hope we can be a blessing to multiple church musicians and church settings.
14:01 you also hear it classical music way back to the baroque and rennaissance era all the time. Especially as a passing dominant chord between I and I/3 or as a IVm6 to the relative minor. so for instance C-Bo/d-C/e or Bo/d-E7-Am
Im glad you mentioned this! This Friday I’m releasing a more advance movement by Jason Tyson as an example that will hopefully demonstrate how you can use dyads. I’ll try to do more videos like this to help apply this concept. It really comes down to hearing someone do it over and over. I think Jason Tyson is a master at this and is my number 1 recommendation to hear in regard to this concept.
The playing is amazing but I'm having a hard time keeping up / understanding at times. I appreciate you slowing him down he's clearly genius! But even then I'm trying my best to keep up haha
Are you guys going to make a complete series on how to play? If so, i will subscribe. Im trying to learn how to play and i would love to learn under this guy
Bro!! Thanks for this comment and I’m actually working on this. I would love to hear what content you would like? For example should I start from the beginning for someone whose never played and demonstrate scales, chords, theory, etc. or should I begin in the intermediate level? Any feedback would be helpful 🙏🏼
I would say, if you were a beginner, what would you like someone to teach you. I'm looking not only to learn how to play but also learn all the theory behind it so I can create my own sound. Most people show you what you can do but never tell you why it works. If you want to have a more thorough conversation, send me your contact info. Thanks for responding Mike
I switched this video off after the guy interrupted and said "I don't mean to cut you off" twice in the space of about 30 seconds. Clearly he *did* mean to cut him off. Just let the guy present his lesson the way he wants to. Mr Cutoff doesn't even have to be in the video...
Haha I should just tackle him next time! 😂 JK thanks for the feedback honestly appreciate it. We are trying something different for the basic videos. We’ll get it down with time! But bro Moses is one of the best musicians I know. Just wait until he teaches some things. Promise it’s going to be a blessing!! And the collabs he’s lined up for us is crazy!! Can’t wait to share!!😭🙌🏼
@@SharedSoundz What I didn't say, is that I subscribed. Bro on the keyboard is humble, gentle and full of knowledge/wisdom. Looking forward to seeing more!
You are blessing Brother and I look forward to meeting you some day. Much love and respect from Lagos, Nigeria.
My favourite channel is back🎉🎉🎉🙌🏼🙌🏼
