Not perfect G3' been thru 3 pair, worst was 1st day failure on a trip, used a 99.99 pair that still works. Always wanted a good pair of workable Simms.
Simmes are not Simms any more since they got bought out or sold to big corporate. Price is through the roof for less than quality product. Customer service is ridiculous that's if you get someone to respond. Unfortunately I know first hand. Honestly if you're still going to buy Simms which I don't recommend. Do not pay for the higher end geo-tex they will not no matter if it is a factory defect or not warranty them.
Lol, they are the best, but why do I still have to get a new pair every year?! Yea 5 layers of Gore Tex is fine, but how cool is it when they delaminate and leak?! Oh just "send em in well take care of it!", week later "oh yea we can't do anything about them, well credit you 30-40%. Oh thanks I was looking forward to spending another 400$+ year after year. Get it together Simms!

30 day warranty against defects? I would hope so
wish they would have a aqua seal base glue for taping the seams together
