Look at nighteye. He has support items, and his prediction skills are amazing. Not to mention he actually knows how to fight and dodge. He's strong too.
Look at Aizawa. He dodged Dabis fire by going near the ROOF in less than 3 seconds.
Mirio is by far one of the best examples.
He fought Overhaul quirkless for 5 minutes. If Mirio had support items Chisaki wouldn't be standing. Since Chisakis reaction time and dodge time is trash. He couldn't dodge one punch from Mirio.
Lastly, All Might doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about.
If you knew the state all might was in when he told Deku he couldn't be a hero, he was hopeless, he was most likely depressed, he wasn't motivated, he kept beating himself up for a accident.
not only that, BUT ALL MIGHT HAD THE STRONGEST QUIRK AT THE TIME! HE WAS SOLO! He had almost NO support items and even when he did get one, it wasn't going to work. All Might carried Japan on his back for DECADES. He's fought Villains on Nomu level in his prime once. Why do you think so many heroes work together to fight villains. Because they're NOT ALL MIGHT.
He didn't think it was possible for someone to become a quirkless hero, and there was no quirkless hero anyways because of how dangerous fighting villains with quirks would be.
Deku could've 100% been a hero, but SURROUNDINGS MATTER IN MHA.

Also, don't even talk to me about Mental issues in MHA. Deku would not have mental issues. At all. I love how they used All For Ones OST for this episode to show how terrifying Deku is.
At least I think they did it because of that.
Fun fact: That part where Deku turns into a billion fists and absolutely destroys Overhaul was directed or overseen or something by the guy who animated season 1 of One Punch Man. That's why when Deku is going for the final blow and he's all dark and shadowy, it looks almost exactly like something out of that show.

14:14 My absolute FAVORITE shot of the entire anime!!! I feel like it’s a foreshadow to Dekus final costume. The way the light forms a creepy grin and the Eris silver hair flowing behind him make him look like a crazed Banshee!!! I LOVE how it emphasized Chisakis last first person view of that and the close up of his eye. You can tell that he had the exact same gut wrenching fear for his life that he’d been giving to Eri, finally the roles were reversed. And how powerful a moment for Eri that must have been to not only be saved but be on the back of the hero as he demolishes your greatest fear!!

In the first season (when they were covering hero costumes) they talked about people using their quirks without fully understanding the specifics, providing an example of someone thinking they're generating water when they're actually just taking moisture from the air. With this in mind, it's kinda hard to blame Eri's mom for what she did. If the first time someone's quirk manifests it erases someone from existence, you're not gonna think "Rewinds people", horses not zebras, it's "this kid is gonna erase me if I pick her up".

That’s a kool theory that Eris has a 2nd horn that can Fast-forward time , but it has been inactive because her body has been in a constant repair ‘self preservation’ mode. Every persons quirk evolves as they get better with it so i can definitely see that happening when she matures🙌🏻

Pretty much, yeah. If she has the inclination and control, she could just regularly rewind her own body to a set state (e.g. every week she could rewind her body a week).
If she used it on herself wouldn’t she revert back to a state where she couldn’t control her Quirk even more?
I also wonder if she could in theory bring All for one back into his prime before his massive injuries, the same with All Mights injuries minus One for all of course.

Aside from the "dang izuku" line from Toga, one of my favorite bits from this episode (around 14:15 in the reaction) is Deku's face turning into a smile as hes going for that finishing punch.

Deku showed eri she was safe when by smiling at her, that's what he said at the beginning of the series. It's absolutely amazing how far he's come in less than 2 years.

Long story short, it's unlikely but it may happen, and if it does, it will either be very epic or a gigantic mess.
FUN FACT : In this episode Overhaul was actually killed/disintegrated BY Mydoria accidentally, but then Eri rewound him back into existence as Deku finished connecting his punch ! ^.^

Some of the conflicting Chisaki ideals stuff you are bringing up is a dub problem. They actually took a lot of liberties with the dialogue this episode that actually weakens some of the dialogue a good bit. Chisaki's goal is to restore his Yakuza family to it's former glory. The quirk stuff and sticking it to the heroes is just side goals and his means of obtaining it.
Which is why Chisaki doesn't stop using his quirk. If he really hates heros and thus quirks, he would erase his own.

Eri's quirk doesn't affect the flow of time at all. The name of her quirk, given by Chisaki, has created this misconception. The way Eri's quirk actually works is that it REVERTS DNA back to a previous state. However, she has little knowledge of her power at all and has zero control. However, her quirk (with proper control) could revert a human being back into an ape. She is far from able to perform such a feat, but this context clue was meant to distinguish how her quirk works. If her quirk affects time itself, she would only be able to "rewind" a human back into the cells used to conceive them. Meaning, and egg and sperm cell. Her quirk is actually much more powerful and intricate than that. Which is where the name of her quirk, rewind, creates this misconception. The word rewind indicates turning back time, whereas her quirks power is more like reversion. Although, Rewind is a much better quirk name and Revert. Then again, Reversion could have worked just as well as her quirk's name.
Nahid comes back next episode and ruins the vibe for the rest of season 4 reaction...
