When I first saw the East Enders theme as a little boy in the mid- 80s, I thought the black and white aerial photo of London was bits of old newspaper stuck together lol😂

There was 2 versions of the closing credits for 1993-1994 the long version then a short version cos bbc wanted edits to the credits
They did that with Neighbours as well
@@jackcrawford3921 they did indeed. Use to love the long neighbours closing credits. Hated the bbc for getting them to redo them to make them sorter

The1993 jazzy theme didn't go down to well with viewers thankfully it only lasted a year b4 being replaced by the theme we were used to

Why does it say on one of them Lola was Diane parish who plays Denise
Because Diane Parish who played Denise was also in EastEnders for a short time in the '90s playing a character called Lola who was nothing to do with the character of the same name played by Danielle Harold. Sometimes actors play more than one part in the same show at different times and sometimes there are different characters with the same first name.
