- G'day G'day,
Our Travels continue, and in this video we start heading up to the High Country. We begin with a short stop at Adelong Falls, before continuing onto Tumut and Blowering Dam where we found a great free camp that we used as a base for a few days. Enjoy the video and have a great weekend.

Bloody great drone footage of the spillway. Spectacular.
Cheers mate. I thought it was pretty awesome for a dam spillway myself. But then we saw Dartmouth.
What impressive drone shots! Can’t wait to explore that area more.
It's something else hey. We'll be back at a time when the weather is fine and everything is accessible again.
Very beautiful area you guys are in this vid ,love the drone shots thanks for sharing ching ching

fantastic country.👌🏾
Haha... don't worry Doug. It rained. I only filmed when it didn't. Haha. Cheers
Gods country. Gotta visit the Long Plains huts and down to Perkins Flat while ya there magical place. Geehi Valley is worth a look too, so many amazing spots there. Hi from Mackay ✌️
G'day Erin from Macktown.... Long Plain is up next week. Agreed such a beautiful spot. Alot of tracks/roads were closed through the entire NSW and Vic sides of the high country. This time we only had a brief introduction to the high country. We did stop at Geehi and it was indeed beautiful. The river there was quite swollen and freezing cold. But I was dared to and I got in. Lasted about 30 seconds I reckon. Haha. We'll be up there for a more extensive visit once everything is fixed up and back to normal.

Shame it's locked up but thats pretty common. we grew up down around there and had to laugh about your comment about feeling like you were in another country other than Australia cause that's how we felt when we moved to Mackay. If ya not keen on the cold water, maybe skip Perkins Flat as it's a long way in if ya not swimming and there is nothing else there apart from the river, platypus, and brumbies.
Anyway enjoy your time there and keep up the great videos.
@@erin8709 thanks Erin. Yeah I'm all for any water. I try to make it a thing to get in any water we camp near. That's funny how you thought the same in Mackay. We are lucky to enjoy many different landscapes in Australia. You'll love next weeks video. Special shots of those beautiful brambies
