I know, I'm not really a diesel truck guy but it is impressive when they go down the track good like that. It seems like one out of 10 trucks can actually stay in it like that. One cool thing about that black diesel truck is that when it does a burnout at night time you can see the headers are glowing red. It is awesome to see.
Once again, you’ve outdone yourself! Love to see a high torque diesel roll the coal but usually that smoke clouds out most of the run. You positioned camera perfectly, so the diesel smoke didn’t get in the way of seeing it go A to B! That’s just good camera work!

And actually from what I have seen it is pretty rare to see a diesel truck make a full pass with out having to lift or something goes wrong with the engine or fuel management. That would drive me nuts if I owned one. ha ha

This is awesome! Seeing cars run this good is one thing, but when a truck does it, it holds "more weight" (pun intended) in my opinion. It's not easy to make these trucks run like that.

Thank you! It is a 589 BBC under the hood. Also with the audio I had to mute certain parts of the video because music was playing loud in the background and UA-cam will demonetize my video because of copyright restrictions. Good question though! And thanks for watching.
Some cool trucks but I didn't like the diesels. it must just be a blast in the stands for people who are downwind. I don't like breathing the exhaust when on the street either. Oh, and I drove trucks for a living for years.
wheelstanders, dont get stuck in it. it draws locals but they rarely win and stresses the truck. i doubt u want to make a habit of it unless the vehicle is built for it and theres some kind of kickback when the track starts to make a little more money from the impromptu show. if the track gives u an option or even mentions it dont take it unless u dont mind fixin it at a loss.
I get it, diesel engines are fun because they are different. But how can anybody with common sense tolerate the amount of garbage they throw into our air? At high rpm, they seem to be more efficient. But spooling up the motor seems to be against ALL sensibilities known to modern man.
