I remember they played this episode every halloween but I was always trick or treating when they showed it. Everyone always forgot to tape it so I wanted to see it for 3 years before someone finally remembered. it was always my favorite episode because I looked forward to it for so long.
That's awesome, I loved this show too, it fed the two great loves of my childhood-books, and PUPPIES! I Still watch it sometimes during the fall, and it reminds me of coming home from school on chilly, grey autumn afternoons and taking a nap on the couch after watching Wishbone and Bob Ross. haha
That brought back wonderful memories, watching Wishbone again after all these years. Wishbone is pretty much the reason I got into reading the classics.
Thankyou so much for putting this on youtube, this was my favorite episode and i havent seen it in years. Too bad they dont have programming like this for kids these days, they might learn something other than how to be a teen mom!
Ah man, brought back so many memories watching this episode. Wishbone was always cool, especially during this when I was in 5th grade. Lolz, I'm a senior in highschool now and I am still watching this right now during Calculus Homework! @_@
yay wishbone!!! Thank you so much for taking me back to the good old days again =D I used to watch it everyday when it was on PBS so long ago =D Could you post more episodes? =D
I remember watching this when I was a very small kid... when those doors swung open and the eyes appeared it scared the shit out of me... I was scared for weeks... out of all the scary movies and shows I've seen they really never had the same effect as these eyes @3:50 3:50
I remember watching this show as a little child and this got me interested in books and dogs May Soccer (the dog who played wishbone) be remembered forever
Yeah! The behind-the-scenes stuff was incredible! I loved "Frankenbone" I loved how they showed you how they did the monster's make up! If you've seen "Pantin' at The Opera", the scenes where they did the opera were filmed on location at a place where they actually performed opera!
man this hounted house is a KILLER for short people, I can't see ANYTHING because something makes the screen look darker when you look at it from a low angle and you can't see the pic.
Okay. The first set of eyes Joe sees belongs to the cat and he says that it was the cat that scared him the night he and David went there. But...what was the second set of eyes? What was that thing?
This is so dumb, but I still get scared of the part right after Joe realizes it was just the cat, and he walks off...and you see something else at the top of the stairs.
Nice :) I'm going to either University of Pennsylvania or Drexel University :) Ohh the work load is going to be crazy, right? Trying to enjoy being a senior in highschool while I can :)
OMG no show can ever top wishbone.... well that is unless you didn't grow up with him. I was so sad to see the show cut I actually cried....watched it everyday!!!!!
Wishbone is my favorie episode.Unfortaunetly I am at school when Wishbone is running . I watch them on UA-cam but the episodes are the same. I still like them but there arealways the same. youtube, you should add more episodes
What's the story, wishbone? Damont was such an asshole haha. My memories of the show are pretty vague cuz I was pretty little, just bits and pieces. But this episode is the one I remember. What a good show!

Thnak you soooooo much for posting this episode! Wishbone is the coolest dog ever.
I love how in every episode they tell you about the special effects and such. It was fun to learn how they did it.
3:48 scared the BALLS off me as a kid...
I am so happy my local PBS station has started airing Wishbone again.
its so cool how they give credit to the people that made the set, and everyone that contributed... PBS was so amazing...
lol, i remember this episode! it still kinda creeps me out and im now 18!
The eyes thing scared me so bad as a kid. It gave me the creeps.
It's a wonder why I'm not traumatized by this episode from watching it as a kid. The unknown makes is what makes the cat eyes all the more scary.
Added these videos to my Wishbone Halloween playlist. Thanks very much for sharing.
Love Love Love this show!!
Best kids show ever! Anyone have more episodes??
Thankyou so much for putting this on youtube, this was my favorite episode and i havent seen it in years. Too bad they dont have programming like this for kids these days, they might learn something other than how to be a teen mom!

And that night, the last time Jack was at that house, I don't think it was the cat.
Great episode, one of the best! I love the interviews/behind-the-scenes bit at the end too.
