It takes so much to make these videos, and though they may have issues here and there, having videos to review over & over better than any in-person classes.

Oh my, yet another learning curve to a drop stitch scarf. ❤Love it. Will have to practice, rewind, review again for joining. I failed miserably on my first attempt to join together on another project.. Question for you - have you ever worked with Summer nights on the knitting machines. They make beautiful flat circles with 20 rows (was trying to follow your square circle scarf pattern😂😂). But the thin thread is so hard to work with.
Shelly, sometimes you get going with the machine a little too fast for us newbies… we know you know what you are doing but please be a instructor that wants to teach us what you are doing
@Sunshine. Very friendly tip. If I don’t get something I turn down the sound, put on subtitles and click the settings button on the top right. In the drop menu there is a button to slow the speed as much as you want. Sometimes you don’t need to turn need to turn down the volume. If you are a newbie I suggest you start off with ordinary beanies, fingerless gloves, if you also have a 22 needle addi. Get to know your machines, then move on to drop stitch. I can’t tell you how many times I have dropped stitches, restarted projects, used the wrong yarn, got tucked stitches. So practice practice practice. Then all of a sudden you notice the wool your machine likes, you get to understand how the stitches on the needles work, and don’t be shy about clicking on Shelley’s tutorials, or joJo juju.
There are so many tutorials on Shelly's channel, where she goes into every detail. All you have to do is look on her channel, try the different techniques, then come back to this one. Shelley is an amazing teacher for us newbies.
I love your makes, I wish we could see these videos from your angle and did you tell the brand of yarn ? 🧶 you are just a little too chatty before you get started …

It’s a fingerling or 1 ply. But can be worked beautifully on sentro. 😂😂😂 oh no! After all that work!🙀. You make me feel good, my friend.

Not if you want a flat edge. I have several dropped stitch scarf options on my channel. Not all use waste yarn.
How many grams does it take?

You can slowdown the video by clicking the settings then aback speed. I think she goes too slow but I know she doesn't record just for me
