HaHaHaHa!! Jerry, I saw your video on this unit first, then watched Casey's and thought, "Man! These two video's complement each other VERY WELL!! Because of BOTH of these video's, I am going to go check out EcoFlow! I know they are going to have something (probably more than one thing) that I want/will need! Thank you Jerry and Casey on excellent product reviews!
"Ecosystem" - This is why I enjoy these types of videos. Your commentary catches me off guard and gives me a good laugh while being super informational. Love these EcoFlow videos and definitely will purchase some of their products at some point.
Purchased: August 2022 - still works GREAT! ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxxsUnXhGsSJLim_XnMHyQK0u3XVaW-CGn I live in a studio and during the summer it gets scorching hot - really old building with no ac units. I can’t express how EASY it was to install. This unit has been a life savior during the summer and some days during other seasons where it can still be a bit warm at night. In this small place is my friend, a husky, poodle mix and myself. We need AC - lolI don’t use the dehumidifier option - I’m not sure if it will leak in my house, since I did not install the small draining hose that came with it. May look into it late but I don’t worry about much humidity in the apartment.I don’t understand why the negative reviews since all things mentioned, I personally did not find issues with. Definitely worth it!
Hi Casey. Trust is so hard to build, but you do a terrific job with it. If this means anything at all, you are the first and only person online that I've ever intentionally clicked an affiliate link for. Have a good one and stay safe. Dig what you do.
Watching his videos has taugh me that he overtests things to the point of no return. If it works great when most would have died he tells us about it ... and it if is💩he tells us about it.
I really like the heating function of this unit. That is really useful for a small cabin or RV, or even as a backup for a single room in your home during a power outage. Often in the south after hurricanes it is sweltering without AC and no power. We had no heat after an ice storm took out our power last year winter. Having at least even one room as a refuge from either extreme can make a big difference.
Yep trucker here I’m SOLD the “eco system 🌍”😂😂😂 they are building you have me convinced! When our truck breaks down we usually rent a cargo van we have a very large Rottweiler that hotels tend to turn there nose up at when finding somewhere to stay. So now we will be comfortable in a uhaul or enterprise van when this happens THANK YOU keeping it cool before was a challenge. We were supposed to be getting a portable fridge so I guess since this all works together we will just get all of their products thanks to you!
Saw your earlier piece on the fridge....Darn it, I had just bought an auto fridge for about the same price. And now this. Somebody is finally getting serious about off grid/rv needs.
We have used the ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxOTeIs0vv4_9B5hsmnLsk9r930uDQLu_Y for probably 30 hours with our camper and it’s been great! The noise level is really only noticeable when running the AC and other appliances like the microwave, hair dryer, or coffee pot. It’s not huge like other ones and it has wheels so even at 90lbs, I can move it!
Looks like a really decent set up and it is really nice that you can connect them together for a more powerful system. Hey "Squirrel , I mean Rabbit!" LOL ............. Very good job with explaining the benefit and features of the product Casey! Thanks Casey and of course thumbs UP and Hello to Riley! 👍
I love your "Casey does product testing" videos. This one is especially interesting as i am trying to come up with an alternate method of heating my glass studio during the winter and cooling in the summer so i can work in there. This is really good as it also has both functions i need. I live on the West Slope of Colorado and there is a sweet spot from early April through October where the temps are comfortable enough for me to be in the studio, a device like this could extent that sweet spot to the entire year. I think this video will eventually cost me a lot of $ but at the same time solve an issue i deal with every single year. Peace Out.
First of all, They Picked The Perfect Person To Show & Test Their Stuff, Because Your Alot Like Me & Most People, We Watch This To Learn & The Rest For Fun & All, So I Feel Watching You,if it's Good Or Bad Your Going To Tell Us & What A NOVEL THOUGHT, Most of Them , Making & Selling Just Want Your MONEY & IF THEY DO Offer A Warranty, It Will Probably Take 3 to 6 Month's Before They Well Even Contact You Back ,With NO INTENTION OF Doing Anything, So Thank YOU CASEY & Thank Eco Flow ☆☆☆☆☆ For You Both
Thanks Casey, really considering to get for our trailer. It will save our slightly loud generator. We used to do the sprinkler under the trampoline about 20 years ago when the kids were young.
I have two Ecoflow Pro generators powering our entire house off grid, I have both the EcoFlow Dela II and the Ecoflow Max 2000. Also their 160 watt solar panel, 220 watt solar panel and a 300 watt portable solar panel from another company. I also have ground mounted 4000 watt panels for the Pro's and Max. Whew! And now I'm buying the Wave 2 on their 4th of July sale. Your video sold me.
Even if it's not a product I personally need I'm just happy to see a company taking away market share from Goal Zero and forcing the ridiculous pricing down a little bit.
Looks like it comes with an inlet hose also to pull air from outside instead of sucking your cool air from your interior space? This would make it run much more efficient that just the exhaust alone.
I've known people to use a hundred dollar window unit at a campground. For this money I'd just go north enough to camp in a cool place. A fire fire heat
Casey you are one of the best people to test these units you don't sugar coat it you tell it like it is ! I would love this heater system because my wife always tends to go camping early in the year and late in the year like September 22nd and 23rd We will be in Ridgeway Colorado for the true grit fun run With Ethan Wayne This is not a clickbait! We already have our reservations in Ridgway State Park to go tent camping and seeing you test this with your daughter is exactly what I was looking for something that could run a medical device and keep you warm without huge sound and a lot of say generator running late at night. In a state park generators are forbidden. But if you're running a CPAP or something of that nature you can run a generator but everybody else around you gets very mad. Me growing up in the Northwest on the Oregon trail and the wildlife birds of prey along the Snake River We would have loved to have had something like this on half of our camping trips in boy scouts !!! I wish it was some way to test this out myself and be able to justify $2,000 expenditure Is there anyway that somebody could do some product testing and give feedback and maybe work towards owning one of these EcoFlow wave 2 Would love a battery setup? Or even as you said the Delta 2 battery pack for that unit and maybe even a solar panel that would be the best? ? Do you get to keep these units or do you have to send them back? I would love to know if there's any way to make this happen? I live outside of Denver in a real community and sometimes we lose power for a couple days and this would be awesome to have A heat source that will not asphyxiate you while you're sleeping. Thank you for your time and I would love to hear back from you? Eric h.
I bought the MK2 last summer and just got the Wave2 this summer. The Wave2 is way bigger than the MK2. The design of the MK2 is so cool; it feels like a legit portable air conditioner. Their AC and battery come with nice grab handles.
For best results you should use both exterior ducts. If you don't use the exterior intake duct, you're still pulling in outside air (through various cracks, vents, etc.), but you're mixing that with the air you're trying to cool or heat before forcing it back outside. Forcing air outside means you're lowering the pressure inside, and outside, higher pressure air WILL make its way inside. That means you're fighting against yourself. Not as bad as if you don't use the exterior exhaust duct, but you're still reducing efficiency and not getting the maximum temperature change you're looking for. Using the external intake duct will keep the inside and outside pressure the same and you won't be fighting drafts and mixing the inside air with the wrong temperature air.
@@cwilliams7017 What don't you get? The unit is exhausting air, that air needs to be replaced so it's coming in from outside. If you use the intake duct also then the outside air goes straight through the unit instead of into the tent/camper.
Probably not a good idea leaving the power station and solar panels alone at a campsite, they can grow legs and disappear quite easily and quickly ! That's a big chunk of change !
The thing I like about the Ecoflow products is that they're designed for portable use, and you don't have to mess around with circuit design. They're far too heavy for backpacking, and you were probably pushing it with the fridge when you took it canoeing, but they're great for car camping or similar. But you pay for it. For a stationary application like an off grid cabin I'd build a system myself with twice the capacity for half the price. That is more effort though, and not everyone is comfortable doing it.
I need, exactly that. I have a camp in the woods near the southwest coast of Nova Scotia. It can sometimes get uncomfortably cold during the night, even in the middle of summer. I trust your reviews. I appreciate all you do.
Thanks for the review, Casey. I just purchased and used your link and code. Thank you! I saw your bike reviews and knew you had put this to the test. The 3 weeks of running the Wave 2 and showing Riley sleeping through the sound it makes helped my decision, too. I appreciate you being honest with your reviews.
I have a question; since AC units are dehumidifiers as well and remove water from the air. Where does the water come out? Is there a tray that is built into the unit that you can remove and dump the water?
Informative, authentic and answered all the questions I had about this equipment. Much better than the studio based technical reviews. Thankyou and I loved the daughterly excitement at the sleep out. Genuine! Did she sleep well?
This is a two loop system heat pump, basically like a mini-split all in one unit and it needs two vents connected to outside of the space you're trying to heat or cool. You're never going to effectively heat a closed space unless you use the vents, otherwise you'll just a warm breeze in your face but the rest of the unit will be cooling the space as fast as it heats it.
Videos like this show your honesty an the person we know you are even more so and I love it. An yes I'm wishing I had one of these so I can tent camp woth my kids again with my heart issue the heat gets me. Oneday I'll have the money I hope, ecoflow is awsome
Love the info casey especially the power supply systems w/ a/c, if & when... otherwise I'll definitely pass it on for sure 😉. Great to see the family & you enjoyin yourselves! 👋 🐌☕🐢
Seems to me that if you didn’t like the content , it would be very easy to watch something else after hearing the second sentence in the video. Some people will watch the whole thing just so they got something to piss and moan about . Just love it when Casey puts them in their place !
Good morning Casey. I have been looking forward to this one!!! I am so glad you are impressed with it!!! Unfortunately, for now it is out of my price range. Hopefully when I get monetized on my other channel (this one is for moderating for other channels), Ecoflow will love me as much as it does your channel and others. 😃
My eco Flow river (bought in November) stopped charging via 12V and needed firmware updates not real convenient if your off the grid and need WiFi for an update. BTW still not charging via 12v
Looks really nice, especially for hot weather camping. However for now, we are happy with our Renogy 1000 wh power station that we plug our TT into and then plug our 200 watt suitcase solar panels into. Since we camp in the low humidy west, our heavy duty Hessaire evaporative cooler works great at less than 200 watts (it cools about 20 degrees ambient in our 26 foot TT). For heat, if we are concerned with battery drain, the Heater Buddy works great
Love your product reviews. You get a set up in mind and start the review. Then your mind will just run off on a tangent and the real you shows up with a complete honest opinion AND the reasons you came to that conclusion. If I am in need of any if these products I will use you links!!😊
Casey, really happy to give you a thumbs up and leave a comment to help a great guy like you get some cool stuff for your personal time for free because you show us what it does and tell us honestly about it. Just a little pay it forward for all the stuff you do for so many that keeps me coming back to this channel
I've been EXPLORING , ALL POSSIBILITIES , of AIR CONDITIONS & Hitting 😊 , and CAMPING , for my TOYOTA SIENNA , and up to NOW , this seems 😀 , the most feasible, one because , it's capabilities of SOLAR & 12 VOLTS & power storage & 24/7 running capabilities , ...MASSIVE THANKS 😊
I was watching your video on towing a RV and thought it would be helpful if you installed a remote camera on your light bar so you could see behind what you’re towing when backing up. I enjoy watching your channel.
Casey Eco flow in my opinion definitely is proving a saying to be true when it comes to there products. The saying Team work makes the dream work is very accurate for there products and in my opinion that is a great thing
Works well enough, achieved 15 degree difference (which felt cool inside the square drop trailer-in the shade, the lowered humidity helped a lot too) in 95F and 80% humidity weather here in Florida. I was also running two small USB powered fans to circulate the cooler air. My main complaint is not being able to mechanically/manually set the unit to external drainage. Every time the unit shuts down the drainage is reset to internal, which in turn shuts down the unit when really full, which happens a heck of a LOT here in Florida. The hoses, being proprietary sizes are also a PITA to hook up to anything commonly used in small trailers. The Wave 2 was outside the small square drop due to space issues, I also wish the company made a raincoat for the unit.....
Nice set up. I'm glad you gave it the Casey stamp of approval. I'm asking my buddies to chip in and get the "the eco sytem"!! Thanks for the entertaining video.
After watching this video, there are a few points about Wave2 that caught my attention: The accompanying battery cannot be charged separately; it must be connected to the air conditioner to charge. This is particularly troublesome and unreasonable. When I deplete the battery of the air conditioner outdoors and want to charge it, I have to carry the entire air conditioning unit with me. Keep in mind that this adds up to a weight of 50 pounds. Wow, 50 pounds! What does that have to do with portability? For me, portability is a crucial factor to consider, and I might choose Zero Breeze instead. Their product weighs less than 30 pounds, which is half the weight of Wave2, and can be easily lifted with one hand.
Thanks Casey You answered every question I thought of along the way very thorough. I’ll have to start saving up to get one, and a cooler, and a power unit. You’re becoming a bad influence on all the stuff I need to buy lol.
Hey buddy. Thats what is called a 2 hose portable air conditioning unit.. which means... it always always always recirculates the air the purpose of the intake and exhaust hoses are the air that gets ran over the compressor. So the moving louvers side dont worry about but always use the other two ducts to pull from/push air out or you are significantly reducing your efficiency and cooling ability.. if u only exhaust out you are sucking cold air from your tent constantly and creating a vacuum thus pulling in more unconditional air...
This first summer with my new FourWheel pop up camper convinced me I need an AC, and now I’ve found it, and it’s a heater too, a backup or alternative to the propane furnace which has been unreliable. Reassured by your testing, pushing the product past its nominal limits.
i went to a ADV Van expo in santa rosa ca last weekend, they had a ecoflow frige freezer there, glad to see one in person and see the ice inthere. I like the design and how their thinking of everythign, i like the efficiency. i have a truck camper like yours, no ac, so this ac might be what i need. Their a bit pricey, understandably. I'll eventually get these.
I would really like to get one of these..and I totally would, if it were priced somewhere around $400/$500 by itself. I just can't justify the price for all the more (or little) uses I currently have for it. My house has central a/c, I have two window a/c units in my attic from before I had the central a/c installed if the central a/c ever goes down, and I have a gas wall heater and a couple space heaters if the furnace ever goes down in the winter. I also have a generator. I don't ever camp unless it's in a trailer that has an a/c/furnace built in and I always have either a generator or shore power. So, I don't really have any need for this unit, but I could see it being useful sometime. Oh well, maybe santa will bring it lol.
I have a 14.4kw Ecoflow delta pro system with dual smart generators, 4 400watt solar panels, and the smart home panel. I run all of my 110v in my house 24/7 with it. Reduces our grid consumption and bill. Our ac is on grid and has a separate 12kw tri fuel generator on natural gas if we really need the central air. Otherwise I have a portable 14.000btu A/C.
I was about to buy one of these till I realized that their batteries are proprietary and you can't run it on an existing battery bank that most people already have in their offgrid campers. Couple people on the forums have looked into hacking the power cable but no one has had the cajones to put 3.3v to the wake terminal. If you're looking for future videos to do with this I know there's a number of people who would be interested in making this work off their own battery banks
I live in less than 100 square feet with a problematic diesel heater and a HUGE dog that needs to be kept cool this summer. I will be buying one of these and eliminate the diesel heater and keep my dog cool!! Thank you ! Can I use may Jackery 1500 to charge the battery? Thanks!
Hello there! So loving your honesty when it comes to product reviews it’s refreshing to say the least. May you get more subscribers than you know what to do with and say hello to the pets for me. Rubber side down shiny side up baby keep on trucking
I hate it the most when all these hyped portable air conditioners are selling at a price as if the technology was from Mars. They called it "next gen" but still running on a typical compressor and messy duct.
Thanks for getting this review out, I remember you mentioning it before. Considering picking one up for my Sprinter. It's too bad that the DC input is only 8A so approx 100W, guess if I buy it I'll need to run my inverter if I want to run this hard.
Excellent review. I was planning on using a Cruise N Comfort AC for my van build but this is way easier, half the price, and doubles as a heater?!?!?!?! Awesome. Thank you for your efforts.
You can run the Wave2 off of several of the EcoFlow generators and batteries using that XT150 Cable, do not necessarily need that Wave2-specific battery pack. Have seen some of the other videos on this that state the unit cannot operate without that specific battery. At first I was not going to buy it because that did not make sense to me, but after looking at the specifications it lists all the compatible batteries. Ended up with a DeltaPro and Wave2 bundle with cables. Thanks for making this video, appreciate the details and information.
That company chose the right man for this job. Thanks.
Great video! Way more detail than mine. Nice work!
What an awesome compliment to Casey! 👍💯 Thank you JerryRigEverything!!

Excellent Video. I’ve been on the fence between the Ecoflow and Zero Breeze…..You pushed me to Ecoflow.
Love the info casey especially the power supply systems w/ a/c, if & when... otherwise I'll definitely pass it on for sure 😉. Great to see the family & you enjoyin yourselves!
👋 🐌☕🐢
Nice honest review 👍😎 You and Riley camping in the yard❤ Love the unicorn and rainbow pillowcase for Dad😊
Love my EcoFlow products!!!
Purchased after a review by CASEY!!!
One if the best videos covering how the ecosystem works together. More please. Thanks
Sweet, they just need to come up with a grill/cook top.
Seems to me that if you didn’t like the content , it would be very easy to watch something else after hearing the second sentence in the video. Some people will watch the whole thing just so they got something to piss and moan about . Just love it when Casey puts them in their place !
#nailedit
I need to try this out. I'm always sleeping in my tow trucks.
Thank you for answering so many questions!
Also “ecosystem” 😂 your reaction was hilarious
Total diva and falls asleep on the rainbow pillowcase😂 👌
I've been EXPLORING , ALL POSSIBILITIES , of AIR CONDITIONS & Hitting 😊 , and CAMPING , for my TOYOTA SIENNA , and up to NOW , this seems 😀 , the most feasible, one because , it's capabilities of SOLAR & 12 VOLTS & power storage & 24/7 running capabilities , ...MASSIVE THANKS 😊
Top tier review. I have a delta pro and a delta 2. I’m going to add a Wave 2 for my van soon!
I was watching your video on towing a RV and thought it would be helpful if you installed a remote camera on your light bar so you could see behind what you’re towing when backing up. I enjoy watching your channel.
I normally dont like it when a youtuber steps out of what they normally do. But just like the ebike stuff, this really works!
Good thing I don’t have a normal!
I love the moment when Casey became self-aware.
Their product weighs less than 30 pounds, which is half the weight of Wave2, and can be easily lifted with one hand.
thank you for this comment I'm going to go check out Zero Breeze.😊
Thanks for this comment definitely important
Thanks Casey
You answered every question I thought of along the way very thorough.
So the moving louvers side dont worry about but always use the other two ducts to pull from/push air out or you are significantly reducing your efficiency and cooling ability.. if u only exhaust out you are sucking cold air from your tent constantly and creating a vacuum thus pulling in more unconditional air...
interesting stuff, i learnt a few things. thanks :) gooday from Australia
This first summer with my new FourWheel pop up camper convinced me I need an AC, and now I’ve found it, and it’s a heater too, a backup or alternative to the propane furnace which has been unreliable. Reassured by your testing, pushing the product past its nominal limits.
Pretty cool vid Casey! Not a fan of all the electric crap coming out but for this /camping etc. I like it ! Pretty cool 😎 👍🏾
Welcome to the modern world boomer...
i went to a ADV Van expo in santa rosa ca last weekend, they had a ecoflow frige freezer there, glad to see one in person and see the ice inthere.
You didn’t mention anything about condensation / water 💦 running out of this unit during A/C mode. Need to know how / where it drains.
Pretty cool set up no doubt ! Thanks for sharing this with us Sir ! ✌️❤️🙏
Brilliant really life chat about it.
Thanks
Riley Rocks!
I live in less than 100 square feet with a problematic diesel heater and a HUGE dog that needs to be kept cool this summer. I will be buying one of these and eliminate the diesel heater and keep my dog cool!! Thank you ! Can I use may Jackery 1500 to charge the battery? Thanks!
God blessed Us w dogs...MY pugz missing 🙏 praying he's back soon... God bless U n ur dog... plz tell if u like ur wave2 thx
Hello there! So loving your honesty when it comes to product reviews it’s refreshing to say the least. May you get more subscribers than you know what to do with and say hello to the pets for me. Rubber side down shiny side up baby keep on trucking
Definitely nice to have wen camping outdoors.....
Oh wow. That thing is amazing!
Great real time review of the AC/Heater Casey. 🤙😎
Awesome. Thank you for your efforts.
can you hook this into your EBike to get extra mileage?......can we get back to the Ebike reviews that made this channel the greatness it is
You can run the Wave2 off of several of the EcoFlow generators and batteries using that XT150 Cable, do not necessarily need that Wave2-specific battery pack.
